Who You'll Work With
You will work as part of the Sales&Services Finance organization, who are key business Customers and Partners to Cisco's sales organization focused on EMEA. The organization is responsible for driving and shaping deals, budgeting, forecasting, analysing and reporting activities across the P&L including Bookings, Revenue, Gross Margin and Operating Expenses. The Team The Global Service Providers Unit was created in mid-2014, thus the Finance team is in the unique position to guide and drive the shape of our business partners. Our GSP unit is also the pioneer in rolling out many of Cisco's new high-profile business models, providing us an opportunity to lead by example .
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years professional experience gained in Financial Analysis role, preferably in similar industry
Advanced Excel, Business Objects and Essbase
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail
Fluent spoken & written English (crucial because most meetings are via WebEx/phone or TP/Video)
Desired Skills
Educational degree in Finance/Accounting
Accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/….)
Highly motivated, dedicated individual and standout colleague who can operate successfully in multicultural environments
Good communicator, able to discuss issues with teams and management with clarity and diplomacy
Skilled in creating Presentation materials (PowerPoint)
What You'll do
As Financial Analyst you will focus on driving and shaping deals, budgeting, forecasting, analyzing and reporting activities across the P&L including Bookings, Revenue, Gross Margin and Operating Expenses.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the creation and management of the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, quarterly). Bookings, revenue and Opex
Providing quality financial analysis & business support. This is not just production of data but also providing insight & analysis
Supporting the Controllers and FD to provide appropriate P&L information into the Sales organization (measurement of profitability metrics of the portfolio, etc.)
Supporting best-practice Opex controls in each of the geographies. Provide analysis and reporting to Finance Director
Contributing to the Annual, Long Range Planning and Goaling processes
