To contribute to determining success criteria for the evaluation of promising solutions/technologies via Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and feasibility studies across two or more areas within Secure Access space, as they related to meeting Roche’s business needs.
To architect, design, build, test, and deploy (first-time) integrated, resilient and reliable solutions in multiple solution areas across the entire Secure Access Solution space.
To lead and contribute to the end-to-end design of infrastructure solutions and the creation and maintenance of related component standards.
To manage small-to-medium sized technical teams for specific objectives in medium-to-large initiatives (projects, lifecycle work, PoCs, etc.) and to provide the expert guidance required to drive technical developments in these initiatives.
To advise, influence, collaborate with, and integrate feedback from various IT partners and line-of-business stakeholders.
To map the technology roadmaps into portfolio projects/activities and to estimate resources, dependencies, risks, and timelines required to deliver these projects/activities successfully.
To contribute and/or write position papers, white papers, best practices and use cases for their infrastructure solution space.
To ensure solutions implemented fit within the Quality/Regulatory standards, as applicable.
You have at least 6 years experience of working in one or more multinational work environments as Solutions Architect/Technical Lead in Secure Access solutions. Work experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry would be a plus.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English. German, Spanish and Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
You have proven project and time management skills as well as business analyst and problem solving capabilities.
Some travel will be required.
The ability to work across multiple time zones, including some on-call and extended hours work will be required.
You bring in-depth expertise in developing, implementing and architecting security systems specifically for a large Global Enterprise.
You have a in-depth knowledge of at least two of the following technologies:
Platform Security Design & Deployment including but not limited to Endpoint Protection, Data Loss Prevention, User Behavior Analysis, Intrusion Detection, Malware Protection and Application Security.
Analysis and vulnerability assessment capabilities
Designing and implementing Enterprise SIEM solutions
Security Framework for Cloud including integration with on-premise Infrastructure
Accountable and responsible for following DevOps principles and, whenever possible, delivering the solutions as code applying IaC processes.
Proficiency with software and scripting development, automation and orchestration tools and configuration management tools/scripting.
IoT expertise in the areas of Vulnerability Assessment, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), wireless and wired network security, encryption, communication protocols such as IPv6, Bluetooth, NFC, specific IoT authentication.
