Embedded in the IWM Emerging Europe Coverage Compliance team, responsible for local compliance, execution and implementation of the global and divisional compliance programs in CS Tel Aviv Office
Act as the primary coverage compliance interface to the front office in CS Tel Aviv and selected shared services by taking full ownership of business requests towards compliance
Perform various local compliance controls (Cross Border, S&A, US policy controls, etc.)
Conduct local compliance trainings
Partner with senior management to enable business development in a controlled and compliance oriented manner to identify regulatory or/and reputational risks
Ensure fostering compliance culture and risk awareness with regard to financial crime compliance issues (money laundering, terrorism, corruption/bribery, frauds, etc.)
Keep abreast with regulatory changes and developments, and when aware, escalate any gaps with CS processes and policies
Investigate actual or potential breaches of law, regulation, policy and procedures in accordance with the Disciplinary Policy. Align with Central SMEs, discuss with FLDS/team leaders and report accordingly in eCase
Collaborate with Central Tax Advisory, Market Management, FLDS to ensure the implementation of global compliance and country programs
Provide guidance, support and relevant information to the Front staff as per CS policies and procedures
Conduct Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA), create and implement the compliance action plan and monitoring programs
Review, communicate and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations You Offer
You have a university degree and have a legal and/or financial institutions background
You possess a deep knowledge of Israeli law and regulations
You have at least 3 years of experience in the area of control and risk functions for Private Banking and/or Investment Banking clients in Israeli market
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew are required
