Qualcomm is a world leader in 3G, 4G, 5G, 802.11 and next-generation wireless technologies. Qualcomm Israel is looking for outstanding Engineers to join the development of new Wi-Fi and Automotive SoC products. The 60 GHz Group is responsible for delivering the next generation of Wi-Fi Chipsets, providing a new level of connectivity as well as developing state of the art products for the Automotive industry. The position involves participation in all the development stages, from initial definitions of Architecture and uArch, through definition and implementation of complex Design Blocks and execution phase using advanced design and debug techniques to deliver the highest quality in our products.
Minimum Qualifications Definition of uArch and development of Cluster and Full-Chip Flows.
Handling RTL design for new blocks and legacy blocks.
Supporting chip integration
Working on block level and top level verification support including RTL simulations
Block level synth, lint, integrating and supporting DFT structures
Close work with BE team during chip implementation for design related topics as well as production and validation teams tests ramp up
Preferred Qualifications Desired Skills and Experience: Min 4 years experience as VLSI front-end engineer. Experience with Verilog design coding. (System Verilog design is a plus) Have advanced knowledge of Digital VLSI architecture/design Experience with FPGA synthesis, timing closure an advantage Experience in FPGA and system debugging an advantage Knowledge of PCIe - an advantage Knowledge in networking and wireless chips - an advantage Familiar with unix/linux and scripting languages (perl / TCL/ csh) - an advantage Good communication & teamwork skills
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
