Perform activities that support the Global Technology & Operations and Staff & Support Finance Controls specific to data analytics and process improvement. This GT&O Finance Controls Team performs a range of activities that foster a culture of controls and support the completion of numerous governance related functions to adhere to Finance as well as Enterprise wide policies and procedures. Some of these activities require data analytics, developing solutions that leverage next generation financial support tools, and understanding of modeling to ensure compliance with the Bank’s Model Risk Policies. Examples of current projects include
Information Asset Monitoring
Records Management Compliance
Model Policy compliance
Information Wall policies for employee designations.
Implementation of Operational Excellence ideas and initiatives
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance or Business Analytics)
Possess an understanding of key concepts in accounting and finance such as understanding of financial statements, generally accepted accounting principles, and an understanding of a corporate control environment.
Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience of accounting/finance or audit experience in large public company (prefer experience with controls audits/risk or control functions of a large company).
Candidate should possess strong organizational and communications skills
Technical skills in Data Analytics, Data Science, Advanced Excel, etc.
