Nokia Software is supplying an integrated solution for fulfillment, billing and operations of a large greenfield mobile network. This multi-year program will include a significant portion of the Nokia Software portfolio including network management, performance monitoring, cloud orchestration and charging software.

Nokia Software is looking to hire two Senior Project Managers. One will focus on the charging, authentication and policy parts of the solution while the other will focus on the fulfillment, network management and cloud portions of the solution.
We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager with proven experience in Telecommunications software (OSS/BSS).
Together with the Nokia Software Delivery Manager for this program, the Senior Project manager will be accountable for planning, execution, governance and closure of the program, strategic direction, implementation and integration strategy as well as financial and resource forecasting and reporting.
The project manager will work with the customer on a daily basis, as well as with the program team consisting of Nokia Software, Mobile Networks and Global Services staff.
The project manager will lead a team of solution architects, technical projects managers and engineers located both in Japan as well as in our central engineering locations in Malaysia and India. Furthermore, the project manager will liaise with key stakeholders within Nokia Software’s R&D and Services organization globally.
It is of the utmost importance that the Project Manager is fluent in both Japanese and English.

As a minimum, the project manager should have:
10+ year of proven project management experience, delivering to an external end-customer
5+ years of project management work in the Telco Operator domain
Proven expertise with one or more of the Telco software domains: OSS, BSS, Cloud Orchestration, Security, Network Management
Experience with profit and loss management of complex projects
Understanding of both waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, as well as DevOps solution delivery.
Fluent in English
Furthermore, formal project management certification e.g. PMP, PgMP or Prince2 is highly desired and knowledge of mobile networks (5G, 4G), vEPC and Cloud based solutions is a plus.
