BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW


 


The objective of the Supply Chain Organization within the BUSINESS FINANCE AND SPEND MANAGEMENT DIVISION is to:

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team sits within the Spend Management and Supply Chain organization. The key team mission is to identify, manage, monitor and report TPRM risks in order to enable and challenge risk based decision making in support of the firm’s One Goldman Sachs forward strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Reporting to the regional Head of TPRM and the Global Strategy and Governance lead (America’s based), this Associate level professional will have responsibility for TPRM Program, Strategy and Governance for Asia.


 


RESPONSIBILITIES


- TPRM Program Governance and any Program and Policy related enquiries from Regulators, Business Units or key Stakeholders within region

- Coordination of content for senior forums in region such as Governance Groups, Committees etc. for region

- Support local Regulatory engagement and local initiatives including coordination and planning of all activity

- Input into Framework design & maintenance

- Establishing risk appetite statements and thresholds

- Internal review coordination (e.g. IA, ORMA, CTG, FCC/MAG etc) in conjunction with Regional Oversight leads

- Reporting & Analytics(global and regional)

- Contribute to Quality Assurance Program & Testing

- Business Planning

- Contribute to risk Tiering Methodology

- Support maintenance of TPRM policies, procedures and standards consistent with regulatory guidance (inc acting as RUMS monitors)

- Help Global workstream coordinate TPRM input into transformation initiatives (e.g. KY3P)

- Support with any global program enhancements

- Oversight of policy exemptions /exceptions

- Support global team with training content , program Communications, Recovery and Resolution planning

- Act as SMEs within area

- Industry engagement


 


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR


- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, Business etc.)

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program design, implementation, coordinationor related role.

- Strong foundation in risks associated within supply chain, understanding of risks associated with interaffiliate outsourcing, contingent worker activity and vendor related activity

- Possess a strong risk and control mindset

- Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required

- Knowledge and experience working with key regulators in the Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, China and Australia markets

- Experience with running / contributing to risk management programs within the financial industry or other blue chip organizations

- Global stakeholder engagement

- Analytical thinker, able to quickly assess situations, prioritize and multi-task

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Confident candidate who is enthusiastic and a team player

- Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with global colleagues

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization

- MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)

- Strong English communication skills

- Experience with responding to Regulators or preparation for Regulator responses
