The position will be leading the shared-ride hailing pilot experiment project (not in Shanghai) and support the potential scale-up strategy and business development work stream. The position is expected to become permanent if the project and internship experience go well.
Basic responsibilities will include but not limit to:
1. Lead and cooperate with partner and cross-function team to operate the shared-ride hailing (shuttle) pilot experiment:
Have or develop an overall knowledge base of mobility esp. ride-hailing industry and operation
Identify user mobility app experience and preference through research and personal experience. Form a point of view of a good shared ride-hailing app UI and experience design.
Study selected cities and develop respective marketing plan.
Cooperate with partner and cross-function team on city hub identification and route design.
Able to work on-site and focus on daily operations.
2. Business strategy and development
Support to develop and help manage partner relationships with leading Chinese technology and mobility companies
Support market / field research on ride-hailing partners
Develop business proposal under supervisor’s guidance
3. Support smart mobility team admin and other tasks assigned by supervisors
We expect the intern to have following skills and characteristics:
Have ride-hailing experience; passion toward the mobility or automotive industry
Project manager who can organize work and coordinate the work of others.
Can make progress with imperfect information and manage risks so that we complete tasks and deliver results on time.
Comfortable and effective in working and communicating across many different function and personality types.
Willing and able to travel
