What'll do
In this role, you will lead manufacturing operations in the areas of Supply Operations, EMS management and supply chain management initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams in the region and globally, manage EMS partners and suppliers.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Responsible for PCBA supply continuity to DF sites
First point of escalation for all Supply Operations issues
Manage component shortages, work with EMS Partners, CSP/GSM & Suppliers to close supply gaps or cancel orders.
Drive Partners to deliver to supply commit, ensure sufficient supply coverage to MPS
Collaborate with them & cross functional teams to ensure capacity utilization below threshold with rooms available for demand upside, per commercial agreement
Work closely with Supply Planning team to drive product lead time to meet goal
Manage EMS Partners’ performance, drive them to meet KPI’s, otherwise, drive performance improvement
Partner with EMS Partners to improve inventory turns & weeks of supply
Lead & drive initiatives on supply chain agility, supply flexibility improvement
Collaborate with teams to implement business strategies and central initiatives
Run E&O reserve & disposition, ECO implementation, PPV, BOM derisking
Responsible for smooth NPI to Sustaining transition
Program manage, develop solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which may require cross-functional/cross organizational resolution
Who you are
Extensive experience of supply chain management and manufacturing planning for a multinational or global company (minimum 5 years)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes & procedures, with in-depth working knowledge of EMS management
Strong program management skills and have demonstrated achievements in excellent project management
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems
Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment and work well with people from different functions and cultures
Flexible to take on different roles/responsibilities as projects evolve and change
Ability to work independently & autonomously with minimum guidance
Ability to lead initiatives from start to completion, deliver expected results within timeline
Ability to influence others to achieve shared goals
Ability to assess risk, and take calculated risk
Good teammate, good leadership skill
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
