Job Purpose We are seeking a Sustainable Biofuels Coordinator responsible for applying thorough knowledge of regulatory affairs on Biodiesel activities across (our) Supply Chain. You will assess the risk and opportunities related to regulations and understand changes. You will play a key role in biofuels compliance within our Biodiesel activities. At this level, work you will perform is under general supervision and the role strives to independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff. Key Accountabilities
- Provides guidance and support to the commercial, supply chain & finance teams for all sustainability compliance questions, interpreting legislation, and recognizing the risks and business opportunities
- Identifies trends, keeping knowledge current as regulations change over time to determine potential business impact
- Ensures compliance with audits standards providing advice to suppliers and customers on biofuel certification and compliance
- Coaches leaders and professionals on interactions with regulatory authorities (e.g. support external audits, providing input to external response when corrective action is required)
- Prepares technical reports based on the interpretation of data including overseeing the quality of information and devising innovative methods of monitoring sustainability performance and compliance.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a sustainability discipline
- Minimum 2 years of directly related work experience
- This position may require travel up to 10%
- This position will require proficiency in Excel and ERP Database Preferred Qualifications
- A good understanding of regulatory affairs
- Experience of auditing and/or working with ISO standards
- General understanding of supply chain and logistic principles
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident interpersonal skills, able to build up a good rapport and trust with customers and suppliers
- Knowledge Renewable Energy Directive, related Voluntary Schemes (e.g. ISCC and 2BSvs) and Certification bodies (e.g. SGS, Control Union and Bureau Veritas) would be an asset
