What You’ll Do
We are looking for a customer-focused technical sales professional who will provide high level technical information and design/implementation guidance to one or more customers in a dedicated and / or pooled manner. The SE will be providing an architectural perspective across the Cisco product portfolio, including software and services, leveraging knowledge of the broad Cisco portfolio as well as his / her technical specialization as needed. He / she will collaborate with the Account Manager(s) and leverage additional resources (e.g. consulting specialists, demo labs, etc.) to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solution and services offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
Working with account teams and partners to qualify new opportunities.
Meet with customer CXO's and partner with account teams to define contract technical success metrics, solutions, and models.
Define customer business problem in a technical context
Define solution options and articulate the benefits of a Cisco solution
Develop the technical response to RFPs or the technical elements or approach for the proposal, including products, solutions, software, and services.
Lead and develop PoC, leveraging resources such as demo labs, including presentation and documentation of test results
Lead presentation of Cisco solutions to customer, including white-boarding and presentation of technical material. Leverage additional resources as needed (e.g. CSE, TSA, etc.)
Ensure minimal / no post sales time by escalating requests and outstanding questions to appropriate post-sales organization (Partner, TAC, CA)
Develop expert understanding of technological capabilities and limitations of key competitors
Actively develop technical, professional, and sales skills
 
Who You'll Work With
Cisco Systems is looking for a pre-sales Systems Engineer to join our Sales team in Kiev/ Ukraine to support our growing business! In this role you will work very closely with our account and partner sales teams to support them in explaining, structuring and helping to sell our key offerings as well as providing the premier technology expertise to our customers.
 
Who You Are
Should you be interested in this Systems Engineer job opportunity, you should come with a passion, energy, and tenacity to work across all Cisco Portfolio. You should possess and/or nurture strong Business Unit relationships, and be able to navigate through Cisco's cross functional areas effectively. In addition to a technical capabilities and the ability to learn quickly as well as knowledge of current technology trends, your social, presentation and troubleshooting skills come as very important for this role! You should be familiar with how to successfully navigate a complex account and customer base.
 
You should bring:
Understanding of major Cisco architectures: Networking (priority), Security, Data Center and Collaboration
Past work experience in a pre-sales role and in a vendor company
Deep understanding and being conversant about company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
Certificates from Cisco or other IT vendors are very much welcome
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
Upper intermediate English.
Very good interpersonal skills combined with capability of building trust relationships internally and at our customers
A high sense of ownership, coupled with a strong focus on achieving results
Great teammate, willing to help others and prepared to ask for help when necessary
