Description

Position requires a Lead Engineer, reliable, self-motivated, polite and articulate individual, able to communicate with both System and customer personnel at all levels. Preferably with specific industry knowledge, prior experience and essentially strong leadership skills.
Possession of managerial qualities, literacy, numeracy and discretion. Capable of logical and original thought with the ability to react coolly under stress, plus be prepared to travel widely and work unsociable hours if necessary.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within a leading automation project organization and at least 7+ years as a lead for projects & services of  Turbo Machinery Engineering.
• Good communication skills & team leadership
• Initiative, self-motivation, ability to adapt to changing circumstances
• Ability to quickly analyze a situation & make positive decisions or recommendations
• Sound knowledge of automation control systems technologies
• Knowledge of project management methods & support systems
All aspects of system design and  application engineering, including and not limited to:

Turbo Machinery System specification, design, implementation and review for in-house and 3rd party supply
• Validation of Turbo Machinery system design and architecture, develop the application software structure, verification of configuration specification, hardware specification, processor and marshalling cabinet layout and system interface To the field.
Key Tasks:
Turbo Machinery Engineering, Control design and commissioning Engineer.
With the main fields of Experience in :
§

Interprets customer technical specifications and generates strategies for Turbo Machinery systems design and implementation in production.
§
Provides technical leadership in Turbo Machinery systems design, testing and customer acceptance tests.
§

May delegate tasks to team, evaluates & approves all documentation developed and monitors team productivity.
§

Assists in developing detailed engineering estimates for potential projects.
§

Assists in developing risk factors on various projects.
§

Assists in proposals and technical scope and engineering man-hours estimation.
§

May consults with 3rd party vendors to define interface.
§

Coordinates and/or participates in on-site engineering, start-up and application commissioning.
§

Defines the requirement and supervises the main activities of the Turbo machinery projects.
§

Provides estimating and front end risk analysis of potential projects which may happen during different project phases for the projects and Equipment’s as well.
§

Evaluates project documentation and implementation for consistency and reusability.
§

Provides different turbo machineries design, process and PLC Customer training.
§

Completes all necessary documentation to meet requirements of the system design standard specifications.
§

Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of turbo machineries design and process specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways, also Coordinates and/or participates in on-site engineering, start-up and system application commissioning and troubleshooting including Compressors anti surge, Gas Turbine, Steam turbine and Generator control.
Important Technical Competencies.
§

Experienced in sites retrofits surveys and activities.
§

Experienced with different turbo machines commissioning and troubleshooting including Compressors anti surge, Gas Turbine, Steam turbine and Generator control.
§

Experienced in safety systems implementation commissioning and troubleshooting.
§

Familiar with ARAMCO, and SABIC. companies standard and international standards.
Qualifications
