Treasury Reporting Analyst/Developer

Treasury is responsible for managing the key resources of capital, balance sheet, funding and liquidity providing the bank, its businesses and other stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities, with key information, policies, standards, metrics and methodologies. We work with Barclays’ business partners, customers, regulators and other stakeholders to ensure the bank’s financial resources are managed safely and commercially on behalf of our shareholders.

Successful candidate will work as a developer in a small team delivering high quality self-service reporting and analytics solutions to Treasury business users. This is a multifaceted role involving analysis, SQL, technical and innovative engineering, testing, release and quality management.
What will you be doing?
• Analysis of business-developed reporting and analytics
• Agile development of new and urgent requirements
• Actively supporting our user base and establish rapport and trust with them
• Answer client queries on a Q&A site, chat channel and email
What we’re looking for:
• Proficient in SQL
• Knowledge of and preferably hands-on experience of Python and R
• Good time management, prioritization and ability to meet deadlines
• A team player with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm
• Good analytical skills and the ability to develop effective solutions
• Proactive individual who is customer and delivery focused
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a changing environment and be able to work as part of a team or individually and still deliver on time and to budget
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Degree in numerate subject (e.g. maths, computer science etc).
