Wealth Management, Account Control Team, Associate Job Description

The Account Control Team is part of Client Onboarding supporting all aspects of client onboarding, static data set up, static data management and data management functions of MI and Controls reporting including meeting regulatory reporting requirements. The role will require partnership with client-facing and client service support teams to ensure delivery of high quality service and timely completion of requests. As part of the role, staff is expected to stay current with process and business requirements and develop a strong understanding of the different systems and interfaces used for data control and management.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for static data management and account maintenance functions
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Drives effective issue resolution within boundaries of policy, ensuring cases are completed in line with defined service level agreements

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing report

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- E nsuring appropriate and confidential handling / sharing of sensitive client data

- Contribute ideas and participate in efforts to drive continuous improvement to enhance service delivery

- Escalate issues in a timely manner in line with the escalation protocols

- Escalate recurrent issues surrounding the onboarding process to management

- Work independently and complete assigned tasks within the established timeframe

Experience / Exposure

- BS / BA Degree - Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred

- Experience with static data management and familiar with client onboarding requirements

- Knowledge of Private Banking Industry

- Strong understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements

- Experience with working with documents and databases is a plus.

- Relevant experience in Private Banking industry and Client Onboarding is a plus

- Strong interpersonal, analytical and prioritization skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Open minded and willing to learn and share knowledge and expertise with peers and team members
