Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking an Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa facility.
The Engineering Technician is responsible for the Manage and execute all activities related to the implementation and improvement of production processes including machinery and equipment.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Identify and Implement Ergonomics and Safety Improvements to the processes under his(her) responsibility.
Identify, follow up and implement capital appropriation projects required in the areas under his(her) responsibility.
Identify and implement all necessary corrective actions related to process improvement as result of customer complaints, internal and external audits, Lean & EHS Gemba walks, QOS reviews, VSM reviews, etc.
Follow up to the Implementation of assigned employees ideas from the Eaton Ideas Program for the areas under his(her) responsibility.
Lead, coordinate and execute all activities required by ELSS such as TPM, Set Up Reduction and Standardized Work as well as identification and execution of Lean projects to achieve a cost out goal of at least $100K USD annually.
Identify and Implement solutions for the High Five (Safety, Quality, OTD, DOH & Flex Productivity) metrics improvement, maintaining and improving the assigned processes.
Introduce and launch all required new products for the areas under his(her) responsibility, establishing process parameters, product specifications, validation builds, replacement of production machinery and equipment, product and shipping labels, packaging requirements, etc.
Provide technical support to the maintenance department to quickly and effective address and solve issues related with machine failures.
Develop and maintain the PFMEAS for the products under his(her) responsibility.
Develop and update Manufacturing Instructions, ETRs, Process Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, Bill of Materials, Process Routings, etc. result of the implementation of any engineering change, equipment replacement, equipment movement, line movement, product transfer, etc.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
High Skills in PLC programming, vision systems and tooling/fixture design
Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and Manufacturing Processes
Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Pro E or Solid Works is a plus
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of APQP requirements
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
Bilingual English-Spanish capable to maintain a fluent conversation
Experience in high mix production lines and processes (preferable)
