Responsible for supervising assigned employees in order to achieve company goals and meet customer needs. Supervision of daily shipments of transportation, and national and international logistics of designated customers. Responsible for coaching, developing, and disciplining direct reports.
Daily supervision of assigned employees or contracted nonemployees.
Assign, train, evaluate, recommend, or initiate associated personnel actions.
Assign or monitor projects assigned to applicable employees.
Monitor, coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports to ensure that their assigned duties are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Analyze cost and volume efficiency consolidations
Record and inform customers of service failures, respond to customer requests for load information and equipment availability, and inform customers of available equipment
Create operational flow for each terminal
Overall support to operations areas
Collaborate on certifications audits
Get certification on CTPAT and OEA and all applicable certifications to CFI Logistica Division
Knowledge and Experience
High School diploma or equivalency.
A minimum of 3years experience in the transportation LTL and FTL, warehousing and Logistica industry.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to define expected results, delegate responsibility, and accomplish desired results working with and through others.
Proven skill in oral and written communication, with the ability to research, prepare, and deliver concise, understandable reports and presentations.
Knowledge of Mexico, U.S. and Canadian geography.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications. Advanced level.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
