Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

Yes finally our holiday is over....and although I'm still in holiday mode I come back refreshed, relaxed, and raring to go, although I have missed out on quite a few buzzes and news on beBee I have not missed being connected to the internet, although I did manage to post one or two pictures with the luck of a little 4G.

Although our holiday was nothing special just some general relaxation and recharging of our batteries, we did manage to see some interesting things....like this Spitfire I snapped.....

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

A very interesting picture.....and yes all the pictures on this buzz were taken with my trusty mobile phone! lets carry on, so whilst on a little tour one afternoon we stumbled across Glasform which is owned by John Ditchfield the leading glassblower in the UK, (everyones heard of Ditchfield glass, haven't they?) well here is a picture of the man in action....

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

This item he was making turned out to be a beautiful vase with a Water Lily pattern, when asked how much this would cost he told us the retail price would  have been £300 but this particular vase had a slight fault and would end up selling for around £150...he really does make some beautiful items faults or no faults!

As a Horticulturist I am always on the look out for beautiful flowers wherever we are, needless to say I had to snap this wonderful Water Lily that was on the outside edge of a water feature that was in a park that we visited one afternoon....

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

Before I wrap this buzz up with my far fetched mysterious story!! I must mention the little Hedgehog we rescued from a narrow road he was wandering down...not wanting him to get run over or even attacked by another animal, we picked him up and took him into a sheltered shrubby area away from where any harm would come to him, here is the little guy rolled up in a ball....

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

The above are a few things from our holiday....but now for the far fetched mystery, we like to walk on the beach (it's just so relaxing) to see what we can find, on this particular day we found some beach glass and some unusual shells and pebbles, but then we found an unusual stone come pebble which was triangular in shape with a perfect hole through its middle, I've been told that this could be a neolithic tool or small hammer of some sort....google does come up with similar items and the descriptions say the same, here is a picture of the mystery stone come pebble come tool or hammer...

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

After finding this mysterious object we continued down the beach when I stumbled across what I thought to be a piece of driftwood sticking out of the sand, well it wasn't driftwood it was a large vertebrae. Interesting that we may have found some sort of tool or hammer and then a vertebrae, here's a picture of the vertebrae...

Oh well all good things come to an end!! now for some catching up!!

Perhaps the tool or hammer was used to kill the animal that the vertebrae came from....how's that for a little far fetched mystery, I'll let you decide on that one.....or perhaps someone may be able to enlighten us, thanks for reading and by all means add comments if you wish.

#18 #19 @Karen Anne Kramer ~ CNN Women Leaders 2015 the little Hedgehog was so cute, I just hope he doesn't decide to try and find another narrow road to wander down...although we did take him far into the fields and shrubbery area! Thank you for the in depth reply concerning the vertebrae if it was a sheep or deer then it must have been washed in by the sea from elsewhere, as where we were there are no sheep or deers...the nearest place these animals are to where we found the vertebrae are about 50 miles further up the coast, very interesting!

holiday is over to it all, however, don't back off your belief. For all the good that can come from making these efforts and feeling that life is began from new track , you don't have to lose yourself in the process.
