REP Ethics: 7 Landmines to Avoid -

I own Executive Oasis International, a Toronto based consulting firm specializing in the design and facilitation of team building and executive retreats. That hasn't stopped me from writing and writing a lot.

What I've Written....So Far


Team Buikding novation snd ROLMy first publication was West Indian in Toronto: Implications for Helping Professionals, a聽book聽that I co-authored. It sold like hotcakes. Unfortunately, when I wrote it, I was too young and inexperienced to ask for royalties.

The next book I wrote was to accompany a theatrical production. It's not available to the public so I will say no more.

I started an ezine called Spice of the Month Accelerated Learning Ezine to market the services for my training and development company. The subscriber base grew to over 5,000. I suspended publication in 2003 as subscribers were not migrating to my services.聽

I archived most of it and made the archive pay to view. The webpage is still in its original format but I am about to release most of the issues as an e-book. So, an update is coming soon.

In 2008 I started聽2 blogs, Corporate Team Building Blog聽and Team Building Destinations Blog (originally Incentive Travel Blog).

I also wrote for Event Coup which was hosted on Posterous, a great platform that Twitter purchased for millions of dollars and shelved.

Editors started reading my work and asked me to write for them. Yes, most of it has been paid.聽

Please give me a few more weeks re: CEO.com. I will be moving in August. Good suggestion re: e-book promotion with video. I hadn't considered it.

Haha Not surprising ! Though some people do not like LinkedIn stats various interpreted meaning , LI is still alive with 23% MAU (and decreasing) on it. I would say, not bad! Not bad for the Likes, seems people loved the challenge sent by A Lady to Someone they (used) to know..(Background Music by Gotye.....LOL). Ladies with guts and charm..That is what matters in this cruel world! We need more !I can wait following the episodes of this challenge. This is going to be awesome ! Nice ....

I do not have the ambition to become a writer however as i am a great supporter of yours , Anne ! I will follow and follow up the challenge with the greatest interest. 1) Shall we resume our CEO.com collaboration ? 2)And please, make a Honey with a mix-format of text and video to promote your e-book. The Team and I, will be delighted to support within our best efforts. Nota Bene for detractors if any: successfull people work in team, so yes there is a team...and you have no idea of how good they are > But what is remarkable with these men and women, they are truely caring and sharing knowledge, and that why the collaborate so well for a common purpose: affinity propagation , not to be confused with affinity networking. anytime when you are available on Skype Anne: You are already in My contacts. Anne \ud83d\udc1d Thornley-Brown, MBA, This is an impressive list that tells a lot about unquestionable writing skills. I wish you continued success, dream assignments including Inc. Magazine and Forbes in the near future, a lot of good and paid articles, and congratulate you on all that you have already achieved. I write out of my profession only when I have inspiration. Which means rarely :) And my connections in social media are a constant source of inspiration, both professionally and socially. I learned a lot.
