How Do You Recover From Burnout?

How Do You Recover From Burnout?

Let's face it.  Today's world of business can be ever so stressful - with no end in sight.  As we are now in the holiday season, we have all sorts of obligations left and right to not just support our families and loved ones but to even produce beyond the normal point to get everyone the gifts we'd love for them to have.

All of this while working our 9 to 5 jobs or running our businesses.  It's enough to burn out even the strongest of us, right? So, how can we deal with this trend of work  / life balance getting worse by the day? It's time to put our life back in our hands and recover from burnout!

A recent infographic we did studied the effects of burnout - an incredible 61% of Americans felt burned out at their jobs, with mid-level management and entry level professionals feeling the most stressed of us all. We must hone in on our time management skills, utilize organizational tools, and prioritize our tasks - these methods will help restore some balance.

There is hope - simple lifestyle changes will help you lead the way to a saner environment for you and your co-workers.

What tips do you employ to stay sane on the job? Please share them with me in the comments!

Thanks for sharing the infographic @Brian Wallace

May I suggest avoiding burnout in the first place? I am big on working with one's passions / personal interests. Then - work can be come fun and is no longer a 4 letter word.

"Quiet time" may be a good thing to practice. Doing nothing at all, but relaxing. And you don't need a million dollars to do nothing.

Vacations are also good.
