1. Know your body type and size

Don’t try to squeeze into a style that’s designed for a different type of figure. It’s hard to feel beautiful when straps tug and bottoms chafe. Use the sizing chart that the brand provides, this is key as many brands sizes differ. When it comes to Brazilian bikinis you can choose between a Brazilian bikini bottom, a regular Latin or even full coverage. The key is choosing a size that not only accentuates your best assets but makes you feel comfortable as well. 

Wearing a bikini is essentially parading around half naked. Take time to pamper and prep your skin so you’re ready for the parade. 

Choose a cut, color and fabric that highlight your best features. Accentuate the positive! 

4. Select a swimsuit that is suitable to its primary use

Whether you’re swimming laps or sipping a Mai Tai in the Cabana, make sure your suit is up to the task. It needs to fit in the right places, not be too loose or tight. And remember hot tubs destroy designer bikinis!

You don’t have to spend a million to look like a million, but don’t make the mistake of buying the cheapest bikini just to save a handful of bucks. You will just end up paying more down the road to replace them. A quality bikini taken care of properly will last for years. 

7. Be Yourself

Finally and most importantly a good bikini – and the one you look good in – is the one that you love to wear. Be yourself and don’t be afraid to flaunt it!
