We prevent ducts from becoming wet
How about breathing another person’s dirt and dust every time the heating or cooling system turns on? My answer to both of these questions is a definite and absolute no. That is why we always clean the Air Vent & Duct Cleaning Service when we move into a home, and why we clean them regularly thereafter.
We enjoy a clean house, and we know what dirty air ducts
contain and what they release into the air. If air ducts were made clear and if
they were installed outside of the walls, then everybody would see the dirt
that builds up and everybody would have them cleaned on a regular basis.
The Process of Cleaning the heating duct is not that easy. In fact, it is extremely time-consuming. Since the length of the duct is high, it takes more time to eliminate all the dirt from the duct. Let us look at how people feel when the cleaning process is complete.
How can you help prevent ducts from becoming wet so moisture is controlled?
- Repair any leaks or water damage correctly immediately.
- Make sure the condensate pan drains properly. Substantial standing water and/or debris indicate a problem requiring immediate attention. Check insulation near cooling coils for wet spots.
- Make sure ducts are properly sealed and insulated in all non-air-conditioned spaces. The heating and cooling system must be properly insulated to prevent water condensation.
- Make sure that your air conditioning unit is the proper size for your needs and that all ducts are sealed at the joints. An improperly sized unit will cycle on and off frequently resulting in poor moisture removal.
