I do not follow my feelings.
I just let them come my way.
And while they are embracing me,
I know these feelings are here to stay.
I wonder, what am I to make of them?
They just are, the way they are.
And then I hear this sound idea,
To lose the one's that often leave a scar.
While I'm on this winding path called life,
I figure I could drop them at a turn.
But such feelings tend to have their way.
It's a straight passage for a quick return.
They simply catch up when I least expect.
It's hard for me to feel any other way.
I'm like a dog chasing my own tail.
And I don't follow,why I follow all day.
