Is it what it is,

or is it something else?

What I know for certain.

Curiosity compels.

Even if I listen,

To all that it tells.

I only keep,

What easily sells.

Is it what it is?

Or is it something less?

What i know for certain,

is anyone's guess.

Even if i wait,

For it to confess.

i only share,

when we digress.

Is it what it is?

Or is it something more?

What I know for certain,

I am still unsure.

Even if I dig,

And reach, its core.

I鈥檇 see true meaning,

like any metaphor.

It has been a while and it has been too long. Surprise, surprise, we are back to the 220 word rule(earlier it was 200 I guess) . I figure, most of my poems will have to go elsewhere.聽

These have been busy days and I used this time writing stories. I learnt a few tips and tricks about writing and editing from some amazing writers who posted here on bebee. Have to use that to good effect now.

What I am wondering about is stuff that I can write about, here on bebee. If not poems and stories, then what? First, fifteen more words, thereafter, a lot of cynical crap followed by something that can filter out the meaningful.

What I know for certain is that curiosity compels to dig deeper. I am also glad to see you on beBee, and not just on LI. About the 220-word rule, you can put, like some authors do, a long paragraph dubbed "About me" at the end of every post. Sometimes this paragraph has more than 200 words required as a minimum for a Producer post. There is a solution to every problem. :-)
