THE FEELING IS SUFFICIENT - by Devesh Bhatt

Often, love gets no loving,

But countless tests of quality.

Often, feelings are classified,

For a feeling of equality.


The feeling is sufficient,

Most people don't ask for more.

While those who are demanding,

Are told to keep the score.


The scoreboard is sufficient,

To negotiate some patience.

Yet some are still demanding,

They check the calculations.


The numbers are sufficient,

For numbered thoughts to spare.

While the restless are implanted,

With a killswitch of despair.


Now the hopeless seek loving,

And they don't test for quality.

But they are declared needless,

For the feeling of equality.
