 * THE PRIESTHOOD OF MELCHIZEDEK *

The priests in the Melchizedekal order, the five-fold ministry, Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist and Teacher, [see books 3 to 7 in this series for full detail on the five-fold ministries] and all its connections and affiliates and the saints are responsible for accomplishing the above task.

Training in priesthood of the above order is essentially what this book and series is all about.

The various aspects of operation are linked together to show how God has laid down the way it should be done, both individually and corporately.

Firstly, we need to see Jesus in His various manifestations showing some of the aspects of His fullness, and be saved as a result.

Secondly, we need to understand how we fit in the body of Christ, and how the Body of Christ move together to accomplish what the Father wants.

Thirdly, He wants to see us become temples of the Living God, so that we are fit to live our lives as a royal priesthood.

Fourthly, as a royal priesthood we should move in kingly victory against the enemy, and in our daily lives.

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, accordingly to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 3:10,11.

To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Hebrews 1:13, 14.

Since he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”

Hebrews 10:13-16.

Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy.

Psalm 99:5.

This is what the Lords says: Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?

Isaiah 66:1.

Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations—their kings led in triumphal procession.

For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.

“The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the pine, the fir and the cypress together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet.

The sons of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 60:11-14.
