THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
1Corinthians 12:1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want you to understand about spiritual gifts.
1Corinthians 12:2 You remember the lives you lived before you were believers. You let yourselves be influenced and led away to worship idols--things that have no life.
1Corinthians 12:3 So I tell you that no one who is speaking with the help of God's Spirit says, "Jesus be cursed." And no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," without the help of the Holy Spirit.
1Corinthians 12:4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they are all from the same Spirit.
1Corinthians 12:5 There are different ways to serve, but we serve the same Lord.
1Corinthians 12:6 And there are different ways that God works in people, but it is the same God who works in all of us to do everything.
1Corinthians 12:7 Something from the Spirit can be seen in each person. The Spirit gives this to each one to help others.
1Corinthians 12:8 The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak with wisdom. And the same Spirit gives another person the ability to speak with knowledge.
1Corinthians 12:9 The same Spirit gives faith to one person and to another he gives gifts of healing.
1Corinthians 12:10 The Spirit gives to one person the power to do miracles, to another the ability to prophesy, and to another the ability to judge what is from the Spirit and what is not. The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak in different kinds of languages, and to another the ability to interpret those languages.
1Corinthians 12:11 One Spirit, the same Spirit, does all these things. The Spirit decides what to give each one.
1Corinthians 12:12 A person has only one body, but it has many parts. Yes, there are many parts, but all those parts are still just one body. Christ is like that too.

THE GIFT OF JESUS
Ephesians 4:7 Christ gave each one of us a special gift. Everyone received what he wanted to give them.
Ephesians 4:11 And that same Christ gave these gifts to people: He made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to care for and teach God's people.
Ephesians 4:12 Christ gave these gifts to prepare God's holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger.
Ephesians 4:13 This work must continue until we are all joined together in what we believe and in what we know about the Son of God. Our goal is to become like a full-grown man--to look just like Christ and have all his perfection.
Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be like babies. We will not be people who are always changing like a ship that the waves carry one way and then another. We will not be influenced by every new teaching we hear from people who are trying to deceive us--those who make clever plans and use every kind of trick to fool others into following the wrong way.
Ephesians 4:15 No, we will speak the truth with love. We will grow to be like Christ in every way. He is the head,
Ephesians 4:16 and the whole body depends on him. All the parts of the body are joined and held together, with each part doing its own work. This causes the whole body to grow and to be stronger in love.

GO FOR IT -
Romans 12:3 God has given me a special gift, and that is why I have something to say to each one of you. Don't think that you are better than you really are. You must see yourself just as you are. Decide what you are by the faith God has given each of us.
Romans 12:4 Each one of us has one body, and that body has many parts. These parts don't all do the same thing.
Romans 12:5 In the same way, we are many people, but in Christ we are all one body. We are the parts of that body, and each part belongs to all the others.
Romans 12:6 We all have different gifts. Each gift came because of the grace God gave us. Whoever has the gift of prophecy should use that gift in a way that fits the kind of faith they have.
Romans 12:7 Whoever has the gift of serving should serve. Whoever has the gift of teaching should teach.
Romans 12:8 Whoever has the gift of comforting others should do that. Whoever has the gift of giving to help others should give generously. Whoever has the gift of leading should work hard at it. Whoever has the gift of showing kindness to others should do it gladly.
Romans 12:9 Your love must be real. Hate what is evil. Do only what is good.
Romans 12:10 Love each other in a way that makes you feel close like brothers and sisters. And give each other more honor than you give yourself.
Romans 12:11 As you serve the Lord, work hard and don't be lazy. Be excited about serving him!

JUST AS IN A HUMAN BODY, IF A PARTICULAR PART IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, THE HUMAN BODY SUFFERS, SO THE BODY OF CHRIST SUFFERS.
YOU ARE NOT HERE BY ACCIDENT, YOU AND YOUR GIFTING, ARE PART OF THE ETERNAL PLAN, TO BRING EVERYTHING TO WHOLENESS.
ON-GOING SUFFERING IS NOT PART OF GOD'S PLAN, WHOLENESS IS.
