How to Avoid Burnouts and Be Happy at Work

I don’t know if it’s just me but this winter and spring has absolutely destroyed me. Crazy working hours, no sun, junk food, countless cans of energy drinks and cups of coffee led to a big burnout and loss of any motivation. I realised that I need to change something, especially at work and I’ve started looking into different things on how I can improve our office, working hours and enjoy work again.

I had an opportunity to talk to an expert in this field, Lilli Hender, and wanted to share her insights on workplace wellness. She’s actually conducted a study on job satisfaction and I was surprised at some of her findings, e.g. did you know that 60% of women are still going to work even if they are ill? Or that 35% of employees feel ambivalent or unhappy at work? Is there a chance that your staff or you belong to that 35%? If you are interested to find out more, I’ve put together a blog post, included more statistics from her research, and thought you may find it useful as I did.
