It had a soul and even though it died it still lived.

She was searching

She didn't know where she left it

Her heart skipped a beat

It was right here

She felt it few minutes ago

She could not understand what went wrong

She stared out at the window

The weather was gloomy

It had rained heavily the night before

The drizzles were still on and off

It reflected her mood

She remembered she was searching and went back at it

She wanted hard to believe she had not lost it

But she knew the truth. She could not accept it

She knew she cannot change reality

She cannot cease to exist because of this

She has to evolve and move on

The dew drops reminded her of the tear drops on her cheeks

She wiped them away and looked at herself in the mirror

She did not lose it

It died

The emotion had blossomed so many beautiful memories, died

It had a soul and even though it died,

it still lived.聽

She had to embrace the fact

It was eternal

Even though it died and ceased to exist

It lived

A peek back brought her joy and anguish.

For it was too good to be true

When she realized that it wasn't too good it was real

She could not put a price tag on it with adjectives

It was an object of her expectations & actions

It now ceased to exist

She was caught up in that moment

The moment had gone

It was real and it is eternal

聽It died but lives on.

Thank you Preston \ud83d\udc1d Vander Ven I have so many backup plans for my spontaneous thoughts. I have a Samsung note 5 that records what I speak into text note or I can just write using the S-pen. Or I record what I am thinking on the voice recorder and playback when I want to write. The thoughts that come in the middle of the night while I'm about to sleep are penned down on a notepad that I can write on with a light pen that lights up the area you're writing on without having to turn on the light. This one was written on a bus ride from work while staring out at the grey clouds using my Note 5.

Lisa \ud83d\udc1d Gallagher It is amazing to relive a moment gone. The thoughts that go through our minds endlessly need to come out in words to make us feel lighter in our minds and I do that only sometimes ( sigh ).I love bodies of water too. Like yourself for example your made of 70% of water ( Giggles)

Lovely , some of what you described, "The gloomy weather reflecting her mood," the tears, a peek into the past are so relatable! It's amazing when we think of or write about all the random thoughts that go through our minds endlessly, isn't it?! I can go from elation to meloncholy in a matter of seconds depending on those thoughts. Thanks for sharing! I love the photo, the rocks remind me of our breakwall on Lake Erie in Ohio. I LOVE bodies of water!!

I love the harmony in your writing dear Devesh \ud83d\udc1d Bhatt. You harmonize the mood of your characters with the mood of the environment. Thr reader "lives" your descriptionss. Maybe i am wrong but since Ali Anani I see a reflection of her style here, maybe an affinity type of reflection which blends with your style of writing. Maybe when Ali Anani writes about you, i would begin to see your reflections across many other writers. Just saying that the observations have made me aware of the subtle and blended aspects.
