Be blessed: The enduring honey-effect of gratitude

Reflections to consider this Thanksgiving

Thank you God that I have ..

Thank you God that I can ..

Thank you God that I will ..

Thank you God that I am ..

“Thanksgiving” … means the expression of gratitude, especially to God.

Giving “thanks” is far more than a one day holiday.

It is reflected in your heart-attitude every day.

“Gratitude is not only the greatest virtue but the parent of all other virtues.” ~ Cicero

Gratitude is what we want to see in the hearts of our children.

Gratitude is what God wants to see in the hearts of His children.

 “Gratitude is from the same root word as “grace”

Thanksgiving is from the same root word as “think”

Being thankful in daily life is often challenging. 

But an "attitude of gratitude" is hard to resist.

No matter your situation or circumstance being grateful will produce a rich harvest in your life.

The pace of the world is busy. Distractions are everywhere.  We always seem to be rushing.

It’s hard to “be still” and consider all the things for which to be grateful. The holidays bring even more activity but praise and thanksgiving given to God is at the heart of our celebration.

Jesus Christ is the “Bread of Life” that we need.

The “buffet table of life” is set before us every day .. “The Word is near”

God is near … make it a priority to spend some time with Him

Every “good & perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth” - James 1
 

Each day .. “Wonder” awaits 

.. we have memories to create & celebrate 

.. There is work to be done .. challenges to overcome and lessons to be learned

All are like delicious dishes set before us to savor with much thanksgiving in our heart.
