"Human-Onions" & Divine Art

"Human-Onions" & Divine Art

f90de963.png

“Human-onions”

We are as “human onions” ... born into a hurting world

Our outer skin ... we show as pearled

But peel it back ... a netherworld

Many layers…many fears

Many burdens…many tears

Buried feelings ... hidden scars

Wounded hearts ... lives are marred

Some are bitter ... some are sweet

Some mistakes ... we oft repeat

To “know thyself” ... these layers peel

Through tears that come ... a layer heals

Another layer ... bare my soul

Do I really want to know?

Another layer ... do I dare?

Give me courage ... hear my prayer

See the pride ... in darkness hides

See the walls ... I’ve built inside

See the lies I tell myself

How I practice inner stealth

See the Truth & be set free

Peel away these layers of me

In Your Light ... I can fully be

Being healed by knowing Thee

“Divine Art”

If you could see inside your heart.

Broken places … broken apart.

Has hope become a drought?

When did the Light go out?

Has the door been closed?

For uncounted reasons no one knows.

A disconnected heart so easily turns to stone.

Did you forget to forgive & refuse to atone?

Can wounds be healed that can’t be seen?

Or does that just happen in a dream?

In “human-onions” … where does one start?

Peeling layers in the heart … this is Divine art.

Roberto De la Cruz Utria Your comment is insight-full We are all "human onions: "a hidden history, lived under a certain chaos and harmony" How will we be revealed ... to our-self ... to others Be well Roberto ;~) thank you for visiting & commenting and saying "excellent" ... this bee tucks away all such encouragement ;~) the way a bee stores honey

Harvey Lloyd Thank you for visiting & your always rich comment ... I hope all is well ;~) I’m not sure which paragraph you mean that describes me? ;~) I agree: All lives form a unique “tapestry” ... from my perspective God is the Master-Weaver” ... the resulting tapestry will have threads of people He has woven in ... and threads that reveal & reflect the “Weavers” hands ... I shared this with our dear Professor Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee recently /he responded with an epiphany I have learned that “God can only do for me what I allow Him to do in me” (better than “allow” invite ... embrace) These are lovely thoughts: “Relationships that offer us the opportunity to share small bits of revelation each day.” ... Caring & attentiveness are required “Shock and awe requires us to abandon our past and declare it worthless” ... In a spiritual sense, with rebirth we become a new creation: I believe this true: the old is gone ... the new is come ... As we journey in life there is great value in the lessons that we can learn from our past ... and those former days have helped to shape the person we become “walk and listen as folks unwind their own brokenness. They will ask the questions they need answers for as they come to each crossway” ... this is profound Harvey ... ... again: Caring & attentiveness are required ... we must be present & equipped to answer

Harvey Lloyd

I am somewhat your opposite from the paragraph that describes you. I am a fundamentalist. If the basics are right then the rest tends to fall into place over time. With this visual,,, solutions are always present for brokenness. I make this point based on what i have observed. A life lived in any fashion is a woven tapestry that each of us must support and fight to defend. To abandon ones paradigm is the gateway to depression and beyond. So then how to unwind brokenness? Bad habits if you will. There is shock and awe of course but a great friend and teacher who walked for three years displays a methodology that best serves us today. Relationships that offer us the opportunity to share small bits of revelation each day. Personalized revelation. Shock and awe requires us to abandon our past and declare it worthless. Sometimes this is the only solution, but more often we need only to walk and listen as folks unwind their own brokenness. They will ask the questions they need answers for as they come to each crossway.

In brevity, you have expressed 'human chemistry' or say you have tried to unfold human nature. We are entities composed of elements, and we harbor notions and feelings in manifold proportions we act, we reciprocate, and either we tend to behave accordingly or differently.

Franci🐝Eugenia Hoffman, beBee Brand Ambassador Your poem is lovely Franci ... thank you for sharing it ;~) mankind waiting the world slumbers pleading for renewal reminds we of this passage from Romans 8: "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies." 2) I sent a note to you last month that Spillwords is publishing "Moments Frozen in Time" 5-7-20 https://spillwords.com/moments-frozen-in-time/ 3) Thanks for your sweet share ;~) Be well my bee-friend ;~)

John Rylance Thank you John for reading and the tie in to the "Onion song" ... was not familiar with it but looked it up The world is just a great big onion And I don't care, is the face people like to wear (great line) And the only way to get rid of this great big onion Every one single soul's got to do their share (great line) Thank you Be well '~)

Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee What a great "pearl" you found my dear Professor ... how rare that healing quickly follows pain Often pain will stay inside ... can fester ... harden hearts ... build walls ... it has been is written: "what is buried alive never dies" ... it is said: that "hurting people hurt" (others) ... often without intent That is why I mention in another post in response to comment by @Harvey Lloyd Very often we have expectations of others ... but do not express them ... think or hope another person can read our mind (this is very human) but important to understand ... in personal & professional relationships ;~) How often that people hurt ...

The world is just a great big onion And pain and fear are spices that make you cry Oh baby, and the only way to get rid of this great big onion Is to plant love seeds till it dies Lyrics from The Onion Song by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
