“What color is Light”

When you look at a person

What do you see?

Are they big or small ?

Are they short or tall?

Are they black or white?

Are they wrong, or right?

Are they young or old?

Within their year’s, what pearls unfold?


Is a person “bad” or “good”?

This is not easily understood.

Does the color of one’s skin ..

reveal the person deep within?

Does color make you want to fight

Does color make you “wrong or right”

What color is Light?


The color of skin is a repeated, wrongful excuse.

Historically & politically distorted with MISUSE


Does the color of the skin

.. reflect the Light within?

God knows the quality of your light.

Nothing is hidden from His prescient sight.

Do you offer peace .. or do you love to fight?

Is “wrong” your song .. is your anarchy, right?

Do you know the devil lures you to sing in the night?


Looting, robbing & BREAKING

Is this the path of PEACE-making?

In truth, you are JUSTICE .. forsaking.


How does hate begin?

Hate will never win

Hate is inward sin

Hate is LIARS twin

When BIAS leads the way

Reason always goes astray.


Where does seeing skin-color start?

The ROOT is in the human HEART

A hole begins within your SOUL ..

that you might not even know.

The mind can be BLIND ..

when TRUTH it refuses to find.

And POWER is a greedy tower

Exerting force in every hour

Unknowing people it will DEVOUR


This veil of DARKNESS echoes in time

UNDERSTANDING shifts the paradigm


If LOVE & RIGHT is your delight ..

Then you are walking in the LIGHT

Righteousness knows no color or creed

What paint brush .. for a person in need?

Colors paint inside our head

FEAR and hate are fueling dread

Violence spreads and blood is shed

Be careful, that your heart is not mislead

Be careful, with lawlessness, do NOT be wed

Be careful .. the lack of WISDOM is widespread


Love is as LOVE does

Hate is as HATE does

The heart is revealed by its roots

"You will know them by their fruits"


Love makes us UNITED .. hate makes us UNTIED

BEWARE the spirit you follow .. hate is allied with pride

Be aware, God sees .. intentions from Him cannot HIDE

All the wrongs done are injustice .. in His bottle, are all the tears cried

Make sure you are singing the right song .. and singing on the right side


Who gets to CHOOSE their color of skin

Or the length of their shin

Or the shape of their grin 

Or the day they are born

Or from this life they are torn

Or the deck of LIFE-cards they are dealt

Or the refining furnace in which they are smelt

Or the number of hairs on their head

Or the number of tears they will shed

What is shed cannot be un-shed 

What is said cannot be un-said

Blood is always red

Dead is always dead

Humanity is woven with the same thread.


Can you put on Son-glasses & see a new way?

Leave the fray .. open your heart and pray

Real REFORM .. truly begins in your heart

Healing division & strife .. this is DIVINE Art

HARMONY paints the colors in rainbows apart.

Of note: at this time in America there was must racial unrest .. that included looting & rioting .. and "sanctuary cities" that, in truth, offer no sanctuary but contribute to the divide. Also left-leaning "leaders" who blindly love darkness .. and seem bent on fueling division & strife.

I share with you that I began a doc with some of your quotes and insights (making it easier for me to recollect and quote you ;~) The only other bee who has this dubious honor (to date) is @Harvey Lloyd I wish I'd begun the practice sooner ... when I joined beBee (about 1 year now although it seems longer) All my adult life I have collected quotes ... those rich with wisdom ... I have so many ... at times it is hard to find the one stirring in my memory ;~)

Fay Vietmeier You have a scientific mind. The more possibilities a system checks, the more successful it shall be. For example, when bees seek a new hive site they test many potential places and not one. This is consistent my dear with your idea the need to take MANY paths before arriving at desired destination. I feel isolated by not being able to contribute posts. What is saddening is the reaction of @beBee to give attention to complaints.

However hard we work towards a multicultural society, there are so many intolerance's based often on fears, perceived threats that stand in the way, and those set on exploiting them." ... we should not give up ... some lessons are easy for some but hard for others to understand ... lack of understanding is at the root ... not matter the issue. ... this challenge has been with humanity for thousands of years UNDERSTANDING ... embracing diversity & valuing our multi-cultural differences is so much richer that "tolerance" (have a post in my "pearl-holder" folder expanding on this) .

Thank you. I found out by coincidence actually. Because it wasn't possible to publish with picture/photo from my pc, I tried to do this via the mobile app. And because the buzz was already saved on the pc, I found it in the saved items. The rest was just a try and it worked.

After you have saved text and photo, you can use the bebee app in your mobile phone, just pretend to produce the new honey by giving it a title and save it. Then I go to the saved items, choose the real honey I want to publice, pick my hives and post it.

As usual Fay your post has started me thinking. What came into the light was this thought that modern racial differences have a long evolutionary history. However hard we work towards a multicultural society, there are so many intolerances based often on fears, perceived threats that stand in the way, and those set on exploiting them. I think we will never totally remove intolerance in society, but we should never give up trying. Wouldn't it be nice if we could say modern multiculturalism is the result of our evolutionary history.

My process is to create the writing in a word doc and clip & past the images I'll use (size & format them in the doc) ... then copy to beBee I have not experienced any issue including IMAGES into a post. Although at times IMAGES don't appear in certain posts ... but may if refreshing the post I would like to CENTER the words ... especially for poems into the beBee post ... but do not know how to do this

Fay Vietmeier Thank you for this en-light-ning post! As far as the picture problem is concerned: I have the same problems, but found a workaround. I write my honey on my pc, copy and past a picture in it and save it. Then I go to my bebee app in my mobile phone, pretend to write new honey by giving it a title and save it. Then I go to the saved items, choose the honey I want to produce, pick my hives and post it. This is a bit complicated and only works when you have installed bebee on your mobile (a I-phone in my case). I do hope the problem will be solved soon!

I have not experienced this Although at times when opening a post an image within does not always display ... if refreshing, it may display the image ... or not ... there is mystery within beBee as regards operation & communications ... from a human perspective, I know the pace of LIFE ... which includes business can present challenges that impede communications ... but reputation online is important and of great value ... there may technical challenges ... financial challenges that land to the problems I encourage do not give up on beBee ... you have faithful followers here ... which includes the bee called "me ;~) 2) Yes... Fay Vietmeier My dearest spiritual mentor- I know I am less engaged on beBee. In fact I published two presentations on slideshare and one lengthy post on LinkedIn. This is because beBee is NOT responding to our comments. I mentioned that I can't load images any more and only text and videos load. This is inhibiting for I depend heavily on images. So, I admit I have been less enthusiastic about this platform recently. Yes, shallowness of minds is spreading. Color discrimination is a sure proof of it. Externals is what we show to the world. It could be distorted to gain social advantage. But beneath the surface all things happen and suddenly they erupt and it is costly to control the eruption. Why do we still prefer to walk on an iceberg only to be caught sinking in its hidden waters? Your post is a noble one to review our beliefs and get rid of the false ones.

Your comment reminds me how “shallow & short-term” are the minds of VAST crowds of people ... this is true all around the world I liked your analogy about painting an egg gold ;~) Actually, many people do precisely that by virtue of the value placed on EXTERNALS (appearance, possessions, education) Yet ... miss entirely the GREATER values & qualities that are within ... INTERNALS This is one of the posts in my “pearl-holder” ... Fay Vietmeier I have read so many posts about color discrimination. I must say your post and lyrics stand out. Yes, we may spray our hair, our skin with different colors, but does this change what is inside us? If I spay an egg with gold-like paint does this turn the egg into gold? What is inside remains the same. It is short-thinking that makes us judge people by their colors. There are plants with great appearances just to fool their preys and kill them. Amazingly, we made great technological advances, but, some minds are still as shallow as they have ever been. This is a post worthy of sharing my dear friend.
