City VP Manjit "Why I love beBee"

ANF

CITY VP MANJIT

Sometimes the greatest testimonies are hidden in the comments to a post. City VP Manjit made one of the best remarks about beBee that I have read in quite a while. It came about from a poem that Chris Guest posted in honor of Ali Anani. First the poem by Chris:

 Sage of Amman,

 Wise, learned man

 Deep thought provoker,

 A debate stoker

 His respect for humanity,

 In these times of insanity

 Is a lesson to heed,

Let's all do that good deed!

City VP Manjit then had this wonderful comment to the post:

Intriguing how your poems get to the kernel of beeing and Ali Anani is all that and even more. Originally when I first came across beBee it was through postings by John White on LinkedIn and I assumed that this was a gathering point for people who were disaffected by LinkedIn and it was some anti-Linkedin cult, so there was no reason for me to explore beBee.

Then one day, the person who I related most to at LinkedIn downed his pulse tools and disappeared and that single action got my attention, but even then I was tentative about signing up to this unknown space called beBee. Initially I joined bebee to find out what prompted Ali Anani to go to beBee.

The moment I had signed up, I saw what he had seen, that this space is totally different to anything else on the web and combine the possibility of beBee as a thinking space, to the kind of people who were coming to it, it was a match made in heaven.

To this day I still am not interested in the anti-LinkedIn sentiment because that is not a reason for me to do something, but once I saw people like Ali Anani and Sara Jacobovici migrate to this platform - these are people who deeply honour a thinking and learning space.

This poem therefore is as much a honouring of Ali Anani as it is recognizing that everybody who has commented here are not anti-something, they are thinkers in their own right and that is why we enjoy each other’s minds and company - so this poem is as much a credit to you Chris as it is the honouring of Ali Anani - because that is why I love beBee.

Ali Anani inspires me because of his immense optimism and positive outlook. Ali said in one of his posts: "Stories are powerful and shape both those who tell them and those who are themselves shaped by the story tellers."

The poem is excellent! Short yet deep! Great comment by CityVP 🐝 Manjit great mix of two buzzes, they compliment one another. I'd like to thank all of you who have stood by me during some difficult times in my life and you still treated me no less than anyone else, with compassion and respect, which I find is the core of beBee.

There is another movie with the word WALK in it and this one I tried to get my kids to watch. They nearly watched it except after 15 minutes they went to sleep. I actually loved it, and you will know that I am talking about MINDWALK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uec1CX-6A38

Dear Gert, you continue to put others in the spotlight and give them a well-deserved appreciation. I have to say that CityVP 🐝 Manjit 's comments often stimulate my little grey cells, which I consider to be desirable brain exercises. :-)

Dear Franci🐝Eugenia Hoffman I fully agree with the special energy that Ali Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee and Sara Jacobovici bring to beBee and here energy unfolds into energy, giving rise to new energy. I will be most happy at beBee when I see a billion people here and we merge as brothers and sisters - as energy that begets energy.

Put it this way Deb 🐝 Helfrich I am a man who watches tearjerker movies and I have had women tell me to "get a grip". Members of my family cannot believe that I was gripped by a Mandy Moore movie called "A Walk to Remember". Even one of my kids said "Really Dad! Really?" when I watched a re-run of it with a tissue box. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obBUZEKuAgM
Ali Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee is brilliant. I never saw him on LinkedIn but I am glad that I have found him here.

We greatly appreciate your efforts and advance movement to the interest of all bees Javier 🐝 beBee wrote a buzz (and a very important one) with different views on one of my buzzes. This is the interaction that I look for- to have respect for each other, but not on the expense of having our differences. This is what keeps BeBee lively and rich. It is not the tick "like" platform; more it is the place for different views. Keep moving on Javier and all your strong and dynamic beBee Team.

Thanks for sharing Oom Gert Scholtz Juslaaik, the bar just keeps rising here on beBee! Great stuff. Especially since it come from the place that means the most - from the heart.
Paul Walters I am happy to keep beBee very HUMAN and we all want respectful bees. I can tell you a very important message. We think beBee growth will be unstoppable during the last quarter of this year. The next platform is taking time because it will be ready to growth exponentially and unlimited. I am 100% sure, we will end this year with very good news. Our goal is always taking care of our bees. I am proud and happy to work for all of you. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐞

Thank you Gert. It is great to reflect upon personal value and one of my greatest values is to be part of any group that I refer to as a "magnet for magnificent minds". That is what I see here at beBee and why this has become a natural home for me. That I have found this magnet for magnificent minds here is great, but it will be even better if my offline learning space at my local college eventually becomes that also - over the last two years it has had the promise of that - and now I feel I am at the cusp of seeing that become a reality offline also - I hope it does, then the blessing of magnificent minds will be for me, absolutely complete. I am not looking for riches, or titles or glory - just experiencing a simple blessing like this is absolute sufficiency.
