The Buzz is Growing!

The Buzz is Growing!

2)

The Buzz is Growing! I looked at some of the individual author statistics on beBee. I was blown away to say the least. There are some who have published more than 150 buzzes. And that is just the start. There many bustling bees actively buzzing and producing every day. Here are four of the busiest on the platform:

Fernando 🐝 Santa Isabel Llanos has published a whopping amount of 1493 buzzes!

Reginaldo Afonso Bobato and Reginaldo Afonso Bobato each have around 790 buzzes.

Gabriel Bazzolo is in the same company with a total of 656 buzzes.

Five of the most prolific writers I follow and their buzz tally are:

cristobal Trillo Montero with 698 buzzes

CityVP 🐝 Manjit with 432 buzzes

Gabriel Bazzolo with 269 buzzes

Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee with 263 buzzes.

Jim Murray with 249 buzzes.

A person that stands out is Hervé Sabattier, with 293 buzzes. Considering almost all his work consists of poems, that would certainly make him one of the most productive poets on beBee.

My total is 145, and I am in good company with CityVP 🐝 Manjit who has written the same amount.

Ok Paul, us both having competitive South African roots - the race is on.

Let's see if we can catch Javier 🐝 beBee with 292 buzzes.

There are a few highly prodigious Bees who have published at least 150 buzzes.

You can see view them on this link on the beBee platform: BeBee Authors

Now let me make a few quick and broad assumptions on posting.

And these are just that; assumptions, which may or may not be accurate.

Here goes:

All of these 150 buzzes are written posts and buzzes.

The written content is 500 words and more per post.

Each post takes at least two hours to compose.

Each post takes no less than two minutes to read.

Then,

These authors have to date written the equivalent of a book on beBee.

They have spent 300 hours writing and composing beBee posts.

They have given each Bee a total of five hours of reading content.

And doesn't this all show that the buzz is growing?

Ng

(In full acknowledgement to Jim Murray who I believe first coined the term: The Buzz is Growing.)

A good example is https://www.bebee.com/@henri-galvao Henri has only buzzed 20 times but Henri Galvão is a person's whose buzzes do catch my eye personally, even if I have to translate them, it is very much about our personal affinity.

Thanks Gert for taking the time to make this impressive list of busiest bees on beBee Producer. But we can't see what's behind these numbers. The quality of the posts and engagement on these posts are something more important than a pure quantity metrics. However, many authors achieve both quality and quantity, and they deserve our deepest respect. To me, you are one of them.

CityVP 🐝 Manjit Thank you Manjit for a very thoughtful comment. You raise many truths and this I like the most: "We are still predicated on thinking we are teaching others, when the process of teaching is the learner."

Chas ✌️ Wyatt Thanks for keeping it real Chas. These are quantitative output numbers which I found impressive. Relationships and quality of posts cannot be reduced to a purely mechanical factor.

I totally agree with Paul Walters that it is not just about more and more and more, there is a personal choice involved for those who choose it and here quality of life may be a choice or quality of learning (and there are people who renounce material things - though please, I still personally want quality of life as well as quality of learning). We are still predicated on thinking we are teaching others, when the process of teaching is the learner. This is a quite a paradox as to what education is, but one I do most welcome. That is why I think personal brand is a joke where I can see right through people. I get to see what I want to see, which is the soul of being, and not the sale of a person. Success is an illusion we paint in our minds, but to measure our life in terms of meaning - then I become a bee who believes in being - "TO BEE WHAT IT IS YOU WANT TO BE".
