1949 Buick Sedanette 56S
We like us a good old-school practice, and this ’49 Buick beat up by Chris Carlson baking implements knocks the point. The Sedanette has perceived its roof cut, its hood reworked and the component of ’56 Oldsmobile headlights and ’53 Mercury taillamps.
Modifications to the indoor are more impalpable, with an all-new dashboard looking so at residence ahead of the rooms that we almost didn’t notice it had been ate with. Under the hood sits a 383-cubic-inch V-8 that sends its gas exhaust gases through Magnaflow cord, while Wilwood brakes aid sedate things down. The performance bits are good, but for us, this Buick is all about the look—and it’s nailing it.
