1970 Dodge D100 Dude

Dodge was the first automaker to make a plant special-edition pickup in the 1970s and it was impalpable analyzed with what would come later. The Dude Sport Trim collection was a D100 truck snazzed up with large black or white stripe designs that expanded down the regions of the truck, ending in Dude writing on the formations with a trademark that included a bent cowboy gat.

The look was clearly a gesture to Dodge’s chaotic muscle automobiles of the aeon but with a distinctly Western air. Dodge hired mythical humorous performer Don Knotts, known at the moment for his role as Barney Fife on the knocked comedy The Andy Griffith Show
