Chevrolet Silverado HD Alaskan Edition
Pickup truck creators have suddenly spied Alaska. Renault labelled its brand-new truck after America’s 49th state and now Chevrolet has struck the same appellation, Alaskan, on a model of its Chevrolet Silverado HD pickup and one-ups the Renault with its grizzly-bear illustration. Uncovered as an idea at the 2016 SEMA show, the Alaskan Edition features a large stainless-steel snowplow. Energy by GM's rewritten 6.6-liter Duramax diesel with four-wheel steer, the show truck spins on 20-inch chromium wheels. Abundance of chromium elsewhere bumper, opening, mirrors pronunciations the blue-and-silver out.
But the Alaskan isn’t just a show horse. It also is approaching to dealers for 2017, with slightly non-identical tool but the same precipitation snow-clearing venture. The production model comes with the Snow Plow Prep collection, 18-inch wheels in gloss black with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, trailering mirrors, secondary controls, roof marker lights, a spray-in bedliner, and latex flooring. It’s accessible on four-by-four Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD WT and LT versions, in orderly, double-cab, or crew-cab body styles, with either the gasoline or diesel V-8.
