Hyundai hasn’t opened its long-awaited performance derived of the i30N yet, although it’s been playful us about it for months. But that hasn’t stopped Hyundai from showing off an even higher-performance derived, the RN30, at the Paris Auto show. The desire of the N performance division’s leader, former BMW M administrator Albert Biermann, to open an all-wheel-driven model of the i30N. Behind the deception of it being a wind-testing show idea, the RN30 seems to be beautiful much that car.

Force comes from an amped-up model of the newly created 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that will energy all of the small N versions, with Hyundai claims a limit product of 375 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque. An enormous turbo to make more raise, and that apparently requires the use of some beaten inner elements. Only official release available at this moment, which is artfully unclear about many of the information.

The RN30 turbo pairing with dual clutch automatic transmission and what we’re expressed is an electronically commanded limited-slip differential. Biermann previously conveyed that this would compound force vectoring, so we expect it’s on the rear shaft. There’s also a switchable sport exhaust and assert weight funds through the use of high-performance plastic substances created with BASF and an across the board taking out of non-essential environments.

The vehicle sits 3.3 inches debased than does the capital i30 and has a 1.2-inch-wider line. Hyundai claims the representation barriers and enormous back wing make affirmative downforce at speed, but here again we’re waiting for figures, and there’s also a rear diffuser above the matched ceramic finished exhaust tubes. The concept also has a rotate enclosure and image-stabilizing gimbal cameras inside each A-pillar to catch film of inhabitants looking suitably mythical. RN30 officially awaited.
