The world is bleeding because things are falling apart

Are you happy about the way the world is heading? Any person who likes nature and peace will agree that we are living in a dangerous world enveloped with crime, hatred, hypocrisy, racism and other societal problems without a cure.

"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it."- Matthew 11:12.

The Gospel to many isn't necessary, thus, many people including politicians have chosen to live or rule this world with lies, crime, hypocrisy and evidently the wrongdoings of people are gradually taken it's toll on the world today more than the days of John the Baptist or Noah.

Everywhere, including the media is full of lies and hypocrisy. I couldn't stop laughing after reading a BBC online news about the disease Ebola. According to BBC, the recent Ebola outbreak in West Africa was caused by bush meat. BBC, what has bushmeat got to do with Ebola when the disease is a bioweapon engineered by America? Who is BBC fooling?

If the media including BBC can't write the truth then they should stop lying. Europe and America eat some disgusting foods they called delicacies, including maggot infested stinky cheese, no one gets Ebola from eating them. I don't think any African will eat any of those stinky cheese, thus; the media must stop deceiving people that Ebola is a result of Africans eating bush meat.

The crazy state of the world today reminds me of one of the great songs of the South African reggae legend, Lucky Dube, called' War and Crime.' Lucky Dube said:

"Everywhere in the world, People are fighting for freedom, Nobody knows what is right, Nobody knows what is wrong, The black man says it's the white man, The white man says it's the black man,

Indians say it's the coloureds, Coloureds say it's everyone, Your mother didn't tell you the truth, Cause my father didn't tell me the truth, Nobody knows what is wrong and what is right."

Is Luck Dube right? As human beings, we are responsible for today's violence and chaotic society, yet no one wants to be responsible for our own wrong-doings. Many people feel that to be successful in this world one needs to lie, if necessary to kill, inflict pain and diseases on others and do a lot of bad things against humanity.

But what they have failed to understand is that in this world whatever you'll sow is exactly what you'll reap. One can't sow corn and reap potato or sow an orange and reap banana. Thus, the evil that man sows will germinate for him to have a taste of his own medicine. Unfortunately, sometimes, the result of an evil man's deeds affects an entire nation or innocent people.

People, including politicians, are toiling for nothing. Whatever solutions they employ to tackle problems seem fruitless because they have a double face. In the morning they wear a beautiful smile on the face and in the night they become demons. They constantly lie, kill and inflict pain on the poor and the innocent because they think they have the power to do so. There is a limit to every power politicians!

People like to live reckless lives and wouldn't like to be told what to do even if they are wrong. Sins of the flesh have blinded people to know neither what is right nor wrong without thinking of the future consequences of the evil they are sowing. And when it's time to reap, they reap it bitterly. Often some say: God why me? Yet, they don't pray.

The light and darkness can't live together in one room and there is no one who can be successful if you go down the river to fetch some water with a basket. The truth and lie can't be friends but since we live in a world that the truth often creates enemy people prefer to lie to make friends even thought the magnet repels.

The unrest and violence that erupted after the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump was declared the winner as the next president of the United States of America has never been witnessed in America's political history.

#1 #1 Thanks sharing this comment Brian. BBC said that 'News' need not be accurate, it should be entertaining and relevant..... a nice summation of the Circus Sideshow? Then we need to tell them not to be disappointed if people claim that they have lost their credibility.

#2 Hello, Paul, I quote "There are, I believe, better ways to wake up good ... to change the world for the better. Good starts at home." That's true since charity begins at home but in a world quickly influenced by the society and just as you said many fear, we believe things can be better but in a slow pace. Actually, that's what I am longing to see one day. Thank you.

#4 Thanks Gerald, thanks for adding your voice. In fact, there are many things we can't do anything about it. Just as you've said to hope for the better.

All the pointers are in the direction you are highlighting however I would also be curious to understand better how you could turn this around and become a force of proposition in your own right ? Maybe it's in or for another piece :-)
