Relativity, relatives and other relationships

Relativity, relatives and other relationships

1e451667.jpg

After watching a very thought provoking movie, ‘The death and life of Otto Bloom’, I found the need to clarify ‘time’ and related influences insofar as our individual lives are concerned as well as the ‘bigger picture’. It has always been difficult to describe Einsteinian relativity in the context of basic semantics, in a way that you and I can make sense of things. So this is my contribution to that end. In doing so I will add my own bit to extend this fascinating concept.

What is space-time? Well let’s first start off with the dimensions of space. There are 3 dimensions of space – length, breadth and height. And within this space, there is mass of objects and movement through time – an object moves from A to B at a certain speed which is defined as the distance covered in a specific time. What if we made ‘time’ the 4th dimension of this space such that we no longer just have space and time but space-time? What does this look like in the context of our reality?

Consider the following analogy: We are surfing in the sea and facing out to sea, observing the formation of the waves in front of us. Where we stand is the point that the formed wave crashes against us. Behind us, the wave continues to roll to the shore. In front of us we see the wave gradually form from a swell which begins to grow taller until it breaks by rolling forward. It’s origin as a swell is way in the past, coming closer to us is the past approaching the present. Where it crashes against us is the present. If we had to capture all the stages of the build up of the swell transforming into a standing wave and it’s subsequent crashing against us, and freeze it all into one frame, we have space-time. This includes all the past and present configurations as they moved towards us through distance (space) frozen in time. This is past and present in space-time. What of the future? This is the wave that continues moving behind us and which we do not observe. We can assume that it continues rolling towards the shore and dissipating it’s momentum. But without actually observing it, we can only project and assume.

Does the past influence the present in space-time? Indeed it does. It is the basic substrate together with its energy and forward momentum that drives the process from the past to the present. Does the present influence the past? Absolutely. In the space-time analogy, if a giant hole had to appear in the sea bed where we are standing, the forming swell which is to evolve into a standing-crashing wave would lose height and forward momentum as it approaches. So the end point (the ‘present’ in this analogy) affects the past (the consecutive fixed wave points preceding the impact with where I’m standing ).

Does the present influence the future? It does in that it provides the substrate, energy and forward momentum into the future. This gives rise to the probabilities defining the future but not the reality of the future. In physics terms then, the future is in ‘superposition’ – a potential state. It is only when it ‘happens’ (referred to as ‘collapsing the wave of superposition’) that it’s potential becomes space-time reality (the base state in physics terms). Therefore we may ask, does the future affect the present? The answer is no. It can only affect the present when it converts from superposition to base state reality, and by definition, that moves the future into the new present.

It becomes apparent that time or more precisely space-time, moves in one direction. It is a direction which is determined by the sequential wave collapse of superposition into space-time reality. Bearing in mind that everyone’s physical experiences occur within a space-time environment wherein overlap between different space-time dynamics occur, we begin to appreciate the complexity of the collective space-time dynamic. The final level of complexity I would suggest, results from the fact that all physical entities have an energy equivalent (E=mc²). Therefore the space-time reality is also represented within an energy dimension (the singularity?) in which there is no separation in terms of time and space – everything is connected and orchestrated through the resonance of similar frequencies. In the context of this complex interconnected reality, death is no longer an entity. It represents only a cessation of observable physical existence in space-time but not in interconnected singularity.

I would propose that integrating this article together with 2 of my previous ones, being - https://www.bebee.com/producer/@ian-weinberg/a-braive-new-world and https://www.bebee.com/producer/@ian-weinberg/united-in-energy we arrive at my personal understanding of the greater process at play: Multiple individual life paths in space time, many intersecting, in turn engaging perpetually with their energy equivalents in the connectedness of the singularity. And thereby we repeatedly collapse the wave of superposition, enhancing the dimension of relativity and contribute to the expansion of singularity. I would therefore see AI devices as enhancing subjective consciousness - but it is ultimately subjective consciousness which engages directly with singularity as it always has. Consciousness per se does not require an artificial portal to engage with singularity.

Harvey Lloyd, you ask, "Would space time exist if humanity was not present to measure it?" I think so. IMHO, space time existed before us and we are formed out of the same material. For me it's like asking if communication would exist if we didn't have language. Our ability to measure space time and our ability to use words to communicate just make things easier and more interesting.

Yes, thank you Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee's buzz. I know my limitations (not in a negative way) Ian, and this buzz and discussion is like the surf coming at me; it's way over my head. I find it and the discussion it has inspired very thought provoking. It forces me to look at my "relative" (read subjective) perspective of time. If we "cut" up time into frozen slices, in a way, that is the only "time" that exists. But that time includes all time because from my limited sense, I can not see time as linear. I can not see the end of the time line of the water ending at the shore. I see it impacting on the shore that at some point in time and space has returned to impact on the wave we see starting to form in front of us. Thanks Ian for enabling me to keep learning.

With that statement we have converged. "non-judgmental sensitivity". That word judgement seems to be the foul ball within our intrinsic selves. I know once i judge i can no longer create with that person, place or thing. Discernment is what i keep telling myself to perform when judgement flares. Judgement of the negative sort tends to drag us into the Alice and Wonderland rabbit hole. Discernment allows us to see the whole of the landscape within our creative selves. For the purpose of making a choice.

Once again Harvey Lloyd our thoughts converge. As regards my current milestone in life, I've come to a point of acceptance of a greater dynamic. I strive for clarity of myself and of my environment through reasoning based on a non-judgmental sensitivity. And indeed I strive, but accept prevailing limitations and non-successes. I have long passed the need for acceptance and recognition from others. And so I savor all that I have and remind myself as often as I can remember to express gratitude. Having said this though, I don't infrequently experience frustration when expectations are thwarted. But I am learning to integrate these a little easier.

Ian Weinberg on my buzz you would find the analogy with your writing "his refers to the issue of why we even need this physical dimension if such strong deterministic influences exist in an extended dimension of reality which is infinite in all its facets". Two great minds in synchronicity.

The question before the question is always what intrigues me. Would space time exist if humanity was not present to measure it? These are the chicken and egg discussions that began thousands of years ago. Let's assume for the moment that a capsule showed up in orbit and it contained all of the answers to our questions of existence. Would this or maybe better stated should this change anything? Yesterday can only be mulled over but left unchanged, the future has so many variables that to try and manipulate them in the present would prove foolhardy. In essence we are left with the present only to control and/or influence. Past experiences and fear of future outcomes tend to be the rulers of the present. Your commentary on this area has been illuminating. I believe we share a common belief that we can alter our present in ways that are beneficial to our future existence. Unfortunately though we tend to meet this "present moment" more with a narrative than a position. I try desperately to meet where the future and present merge with a core value system that allows me to influence the choice. Not always successful, i too have a narrative and sometimes it is stronger than my core values. I watch many who try and play out their narrative of past and future concepts within the present. The attempt to bend space-time into their narrative is funny and sad at the same time. My attempts have summed up to zero effect.

An intriguing video Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee My intuitive take on it is far more important than any rationalization attempt that I can offer. The intuitive message that emerges is that the physical 5 senses perception will always incorporate much illusion and that much clarity through non-judgmental reasoning is required if we are ever to gain insights into the rules of the greater energetic system - the 'source files' of this vast infinite dynamic. Those insights alone will support a quest to Universal wisdom. Thanks again Ali for the ongoing value contribution.

Thanks for your input Praveen Raj Gullepalli and its comments are reviewed in conjunction with the core theme of this post. This refers to the issue of why we even need this physical dimension if such strong deterministic influences exist in an extended dimension of reality which is infinite in all its facets. My contribution in this regard is that even if there are such strong ordained priciples that even determine our unique consciousnesses, the 'source files' of this Great System have ordained that we need to live and be conscious in this small physical corner so as to give physical manifestation to the energy (singularity) dimension. We will dance our unique parts in the Great Dance and give manifestation to that which is synchronous with our individual subjective consciousnesses. Hence the 'future' is in superposition until we all co-create those individual segments that resonate with our individual subjectivity

Ian Weinberg Very good read Ian - thank you. The way I understand what you are saying is that in space-time the dimensions of time and space become a variable together with length, breadth and height. Per the illustration there can be many waves in the sea all compressed into one moment. (A surfer would say: “Whoa, cool!). Conversely time can expand such that one wave never swells and crashes. (Surfer dude: “Bad ride today”). In this sense time is elastic and can stand still or stretch to infinity. Adding the energy dimension, there can be total diffusion and/or singularity. If then length, breadth, height, time, space and energy are all variable, the future can influence the present. But for now, I shall grab my surfboard and head for the waves!

Ian Weinberg and other great minds. I wanted a visual model t explain movement and authenticity. This was my drive. I found the model and took a video of it. I am sharing it in a buzz in two days time. I tried to show the freezing of time in it so as to capture the essence of spacetime. As much as I loved this buzz, which prompted me to share it twice, I feel the urge to discuss a trivial issue to polish this buzz for it is like a crystal in which a tiny scratch can cause lots of harm. The scratches in this buzz are using it's when its is the correct one. This is a great buzz and I have no doubt that Sara shall be thankful for tagging her to draw her attention to this lovely buzz.
