Discover your ideal job

Finding our ideal job must be one of the most difficult decisions we have to take. We spend so many hours working that it is important we enjoy our job. We are all good at something, we like different things and we have different talents. Our own ideal job brings us happiness, fulfilment and success. Each person has something that makes a difference.

Identify what are your passions, what you love to do and what are your talents – things you are good at naturally.Following you have some questions, read them, think about the answers and write them down.

  • What did you enjoy doing when you were a child?
  • What are you good at?
  • Things you would do if the money would not be a limit. Describe your ideal day.
  • What gets you out of bed in the morning?
  • Describe your ideal work environment (indoors/outdoors, at home/office etc.)?

This comes in handy right now @Javier 🐝 beBee! Because of my writings on beBee - my Dr. saw them, he asked me if I would consider being on the Board of the Mental Wellness Association. He feels I have a strong skill set and a lot to offer the community. I was then introduced to the director and offered a job today working in the Mental Health Field. I am afraid to get too excited but I must admit, I am!!! My writing about Mental Health is being seen and taken seriously- as in a professional manner. I was also told if I work for them, my anxiety and panic disorder would never be an issue and I would never had to make excuses and hide it. It's lovely to see that people are becoming more informed. I need to update my resume so this is awesome!

Great ideas, Javier. Why not pursue something you enjoy doing as a career. Being happy in a job is healthier for us and enhances our chances for better production. There is nothing wrong with chasing our dreams.
