POSITIVITY: A Follow on to Words

P: I strive for Perfection knowing I am perfectly imperfect.

O: I will remain Optimistic despite the pessimism and cynicism in our world.

S: In my small sphere of influence, I want to be Strong in my commitment and quest to make a difference; one person-one step at a time.

I: I embrace the spirit of Innovation and will dare to be original and different.

T2: I believe fully that Trust and Truthfulness are core and fundamental to a world in need of difference making.

I: I embrace lifelong learning as part of my quest to be Intuitive, understanding and accepting of my own individual uniqueness and appreciate the same in others despite the differences.

V: I long for a return where humanity and our earth regain the essence of being Valuable not just a commodity that can be easily dismissed, discounted, crowdsourced or driven by all the demagoguery.

A freebEe: I will remain me while embracing the Encompassing nature of “us” and the affinities around me.

ITY: In a world navigating to the mediocre, satisfied with the status quo and within a global landscape experiencing profound change; I will endeavor to be POSIT2IVE. Now on to you, if you agree-- make your own positivity and pay it forward; one person, one step at a time.

Why?  beBee 'cause you are you and I am me.

· I want to see the true potential of positivity getting immersed back into our approaches to dialogue.

· I want to see the empowering essence of positivity reinserted as a productive means of conversation and discourse.

· I want to empower myself to be positive, despite the challenges and difficulty in that task, and not perpetuate the negativity that seems all too pervasive in today’s world.

Rather than look at the issues of the day and challenges before us with a propensity for negativity, I want to steady myself to look at them with an open eye focused on positively understanding and addressing them. Rather than view the people "around" me whom are different than me with negativity, I just want to say to them, hey brother/sister you are you, press ahead with Positivity.  And yes—more importantly in doing so--just say a positive: I Thank You.

Be that drop folks that makes a ripple, and stay thirsty my friends.

Thank you Lisa Gallagher for the kind comments. I agree, and being perfectly imperfect we sometimes stumble along the path. But if we can all use positivism as a beacon to focus and channel our energy in the right direction along our journey, then maybee those good places will become more prevailing. A good thing indeed.

Great message, I'm bookmarking this Joel Anderson. I needed to hear this. We all fall short. I hope to be a person who rarely exhibits negativity and exudes positivity. Humans will always fall short but it's those who can realize this and pick back up from a good place they left off, well that's a good thing.
