How to Get a Buzz on beBee
No, not that kind of buzz silly! When I say Buzz, of course, you all know I'm talking about a blog post on beBee Producer.
While, I've been getting a lot of great feedback from writers on Producer regarding the engagement on their posts here on beBee compared to other blogging platforms. Well once writers get a taste of a great performing blog post, they want to do it, again and again, achieving higher metrics as they go along.
In other words, writers always want more.
A lot of people have been asking me how to extend the life of their buzzes on beBee. When I get the same question from multiple people about blogging or social media, I know it's time to write a new blog post.
So, here are some ideas on how to extend the reach and life of your buzzes on beBee.
1) Share them on multiple social media platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and of course Facebook.
2) Tweet it several times during the week. If you have friends on Twitter, ask them to retweet it. Change up the text and hashtags with each tweet.
3) Tell your top followers on other social media platforms about your blog on beBee in a direct message. In order to grow your following on beBee conversions in followers from other platforms can speed up growing your network of readers on beBee.
4) Reshare your buzz with your followers on beBee a few times. You can share your buzz into a maximum of 3 hives. However, there is no limit to the number of times you can reshare a buzz with your followers. Doing so will refresh it their streams and some that may have missed it the first time will see it when you reshare it.
Click on Only with my followers. This will refresh the post with your followers. Again, there is no limit to the number of times you can do this. beBee gives you the writer the control of distributing the post to your followers. Of course, you don't want to spam your follower base. However, a few additional shares with your followers on a post you probably invested a lot of time and thought into seems pretty reasonable to me.
5) This one is the most important start sharing the buzzes of other writers you follow on beBee into relevant hives. They will take notice and begin to also share your buzzes into hives when you write.
I've seen buzzes resurface weeks and now even months later by people resharing them in hives. So the key is share to be shared.
Ok, ok, if you insist I use a bar analogy, "go ahead and buy your buddy a beer, chances are he will buy the next round.".
Dean Owen is an example of a Bee that is already doing this and suggested that we see increased collaboration.

I hope you find my buzz relevant. Cheers!

Hey Adam Weedy: you own your content on LinkedIn. So, you can republish it here on beBee or wherever you'd like. You are correct that you can't share it into more than 3 hives but you can share it with your followers as I've described in the post as many times as you'd like.

Adam Weedy beBee identify unique content to avoid duplicate content but if you re share it again, it will give you more visibility because it goes again to the top ( it is like a "refreshed content" !
