Success Éxito

"Success seems to be
connected with action.
Successful people

keep moving. They makeWhat is Success? How do you get there? Success entails a great deal of effort. I often define it in dichotomous terms of being a Victim or a Victor, but I’m wrong. There’s a lot of gray in between.

Success is a careful dance of listening and taking the bull by the horns and acting. There is a constant need to be willing to learn and supplant personal perspectives with new ideas. It requires flexibility in thinking. I find myself sitting here smiling as I think of Deb 🐝 Helfrich's and Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee's posts—two of the most flexible minds I have had the pleasure to experience on beBee.

There is a psychology to Success. I’m smiling again. A jump-up-and-down, screaming, “Yes” post was Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee's: https://www.bebee.com/producer/@juan-imaz/the-importance-of-flexibility-and-empathy-in-business What insight! What a distinct understanding of psychology in business!

Cream floats to the top. Those that are too rigid in their beliefs will never see the top, or if they do, the rise will be short-lived. Cream often brings with it a few stragglers clinging to success like the drowning. John White, MBA's post: https://www.bebee.com/producer/@john-white/to-be-successful-get-rid-of-the-losers-in-your-life is good advice.

Success is based on choices we make, and if we stray—Poof. Once the behaviors conducive to Success are established,

DesiComments com you must not stray. Old habits are hard to let go of and reemerge at times. Tamping down those impulses are a necessity.

I often find myself dropping into a near-meditative state when I’m carefully listening. Listening can become a pleasant state of affairs. If I cannot achieve this, I am not really listening, and ideas bounce off me like raindrops on an oily surface. It’s my loss when that happens. It’s not very successful.

We all have a framework to our personalities. It is those that surpass those frameworks that will be most successful. Frameworks limit us and destroy opportunity. Those of us who get stuck in the ruts of our frameworks will never truly succeed.

DECIDE.
COMMIT.
SUCCEED.

They’ll be hanging on to the cream.

DECIDE.
COMMIT.
SUCCEED.

Ellos estarán pendientes de la crema.

Yes frameworks do limit, but they are temporary constructs for direction. We conveniently convert our points of reference to limiting borders of relevance. We convert our refuge as the well to dwell, presuming we are immune in here. This also includes the well of success. But the refuge is a launchpad.. writing is a refuge and a launchpad. Its so refreshig to read you after so long. Still tied up for another 10 days but this made my day.

"I was lucky to get a glimpse of your listening state. You convinced me that even in a harsh, restrictive scenario, there are always choices, but we must be truly careful to not yet the framework of our immediate responses sentence us to the first answer we procure from our mind" I feel I could have listened "harder," Deb 🐝 Helfrich

Success can be an outcome of interdependence, courage and discipline or a tormentor, even when we have arrived. Your comment was well stated and i enjoyed the view. I went through a period of understanding the word "enough". Without a personal understanding of "enough". Then success will always be elusive. This personal theory afforded me the brain space to achieve greater things outside of "success" as measured by society. In reading some of your thoughts i believe we each have come to the place that success is within humanity and not ourselves. My thoughts of "enough" enabled me to see the synergy within humanity and its ability to provide for my family. The sadness i see within many who search for success is the inability to describe what their arrival would look like. The constant view from inside out is changing and the definition of personal success changes with it. I loved your view where success is a blessing. From this view we can eliminate our judgement of success within others and focus on our own. Great thoughts here and thank you for taking the time to share such insight.

Dear Joyce 🐝 Bowen Brand Ambassador @ beBee- I am reading your buzz again and the contributed comment that are of high value-added. I pondered on this extract from your buzz at length "Success is a careful dance of listening and taking the bull by the horns and acting. There is a constant need to be willing to learn and supplant personal perspectives with new ideas. It requires flexibility in thinking". It is not a secret that I am writing a buzz to offer new perspectives on waggling dance, dancing molecules, dancing molds and other examples. Now, I have a new dance- dancing for success. You remind me of the great movie Zorba the Greek, in which Anthony Quinn danced for his failure. For great people failure is a learning opportunity and a step to do better till success arrives. I am dancing for you to have written this lovely buzz.

Harvey it is true as you say "No one can be successful like you can." The irony of defining success is sometimes we actual erase success. There is very clear definitions of success, such as a desire to emigrate to a particular country, fulfilling that desire is success. Then there is moving goal posts. A definition of success that is based on earning $2 milliion dollars so that one is on par with a neighbour who also earns the same, actually means we erase our success when we have only earned $1 million. In this case we have created a judgement about success, whereas counting a blessing is an appreciation of success. Thus what you say "no one can be successful like you can" really does begin with us. Once we cross the line into the world of judgements we begin to look down on the poor that are successful (living a meaningful life) and look up to the rich that are "unsuccessful" (living an anxious life trying to keep up appearances) much like a man who earned $1 million and feels that way. I am wary of success as a judgement but I am very welcoming of success as a blessing. Our world is built of the successful efforts of others and a well ordered and freedom cherishing society represents that.

The dance indeed. Careful listening, action and a willingness to learn by opening up personal perspective to new ideas. “Flexibility in thinking.”

Some great thoughts and references in this post. I would have to say the road to success is the understanding that succes is a collection of thoughts, efforts and challenges that are navigated within a serving heart. The moment we equate "hard work" to success is the moment we begin to feel we deserve success, we measure. Success is a byproduct of many seemingly eclectic systems. These systems are part of a discovery process that starts in a jungle and moves towards the clearing where success resides. One of the often overlooked success topics is the definition of success for "you". To look at another and say "that is success" is really their version of success, not yours. Until you define success then the jungle will be the place of residence. No one can be successful like you can.
