Who's a Cool Daddy, then?

Who's a Cool Daddy, then?

Thought I'd give some air play to a few old music videos, but first, here's the proverbial 'MUGSHOT' !!!!

So which mug's the better looking?

Pardon the shades. Just following the instructions on the t-shirt. 😎

In order to save this buzz from being relegated to the 'narcissistic bees' hive, I've included a couple of music videos I hope you'll enjoy.

Who remembers Boney M's "Daddy Cool"?

Who's a Cool Daddy, then?

Or, if Boney M's not your cup of tea (in a beBee mug of course), then how about the iconic Aussie band, Daddy Cool, with their golden oldy, "Eagle Rock"?

Who's a Cool Daddy, then?

And here they are some thirty years later, still rock and rolling with "Good Rocking Daddy"

Who's a Cool Daddy, then?

Believe it or not, we oldies used to let our hair down back in the 60s and 70s ..... when we still had hair to let down.  😂

Who's a Cool Daddy, then? When not researching the weird or the wonderful, the comical or the cultured, the sinful or the serious, I chase my creative side, the results of which can be seen as selected photographs of my travels on my website at:

The author of the above, Ken Boddie, besides being a sometime poet and occasional writer, is an enthusiastic photographer, rarely leisure-travelling without his Canon, and loves to interact with other like-minded people with diverse interests.

Ken's three day work week (part time commitment) as a consulting engineer allows him to follow his photography interests, and to plan trips to an ever increasing list of countries and places of scenic beauty and cultural diversity.

One of the things I love about the diversity of people here, not only in nationality but age is the songs I'm reminded of from my youth. #28

They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice men in their clean white coats
They're coming to take me away Ha Ha
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
They're coming to take me away Ha Ha Ha

#25 Let me let you in on a secret Pam.
"They're coming to take me away, ha ha."
One effect of wearing a beBee T-shirt appears to be the ability to utter an endless string of 70s song titles.

Gotta get my picture in my T-shirt. Like the Black! though I must say, with that sideways grin it does look like the proverbial mug know the ones, their take just after when those nice guys in uniforms come at you with billy clubs! :-)

HaHa! Well I must say that I am glad that the term 'Daddy' went out with our 60's & 70's culture - same as the term 'Mamma' did, ! Without a doubt @Ken Boddie, you are a COOL DUDE now!!
