A Living Miracle, Based On A True Story

The scene:

An older man in the hospital, ready to receive his second defibrillator. He already wrote the text for his funeral. He believed that the operation would fail. His first heartache arrived at the age of 45. He was now 75. A living miracle. The first heartache, however, felt as his dead sentence. Since that moment he and his family were walking the path of worry and fear. He put limitations on his quality of life. His dreams were frozen. His family accepted the dead sentence with him. They all suffered.

His partner lived in fear all her life. She learned it from her mother. Life was hard, life was a struggle. Happiness was just an illusion. The love between the woman and the man was real and very deep. A fairy tale love. The man was brought to the operation room. He was so sure that he would not survive the operation. He was trembling. His partner thought that this was the last time that she had seen her husband alive. The hours went by. Two hours delay. No news. She got an awkward feeling. "What if he did not make it?" She started to tremble too.

The turning point.

She went outside room 222. She saw the doctor who was responsible for the operation. With tears in her eyes she had the courage to face the truth. "What happened to my beloved one?", she asked the doctor. The doctor was a very wise man. He was exceptional; not only the best doctor but also a human being. He could read the souls of people. A doctor with a heart made of gold. His work and personality were so outstanding that he would receive later the highest recognition. The universe had sent him for a special mission on earth, he had the assignment to bring life back in the souls and hearts of his patients.

The patient opened his eyes. His first words: "Am I now in heaven or still on earth?" The nurses smiled, they were all wearing white clothes. Although they looked like sweet angels, they were human. They assured the older man that he was still alive. The older man did not understand it. He was so convinced that it was the end of his life. The doctor visited the patient in his room. His partner was present too. They were holding each other's hands. Glad to be reconnected.The doctor looked very serious. The patient and his partner were prepared to hear the worst.

"Doctor, how am I doing?", said the patient in a worried and anxious tone. The doctor looked at him and said the following: "Your operation went well. Now that you have an excellent life insurance with this supportive tool, it is recommended that you start enjoying life. You are protected. Start living. Don't waste your time on earth by not living your life to the fullest". The older man understood the message. He realized that his old mindset had died, he was ready to live life in a new way. With this extra lifetime he was finally able to live his dreams.

The good vibes spread inside the room, planted as seeds in the hearts and souls of the audience, to blossom high above the sky. It is true, we live life according to our beliefs. We put limitations on things, we see obstacles, we do not even start to live particular dreams. The essence of life is that we dare to live and have the courage to do everything that makes our heart sing. The doctor healed the whole world with his inner wisdom. The older man realized that he had forgotten to live for the past 30 years. The essence of life was brought back with the doctor's message. Magic. Made by heaven.
