Dear beloved one,
I first had to look in the shiny mirror to see who I am. I saw what made me me: my distinctive traits and the ones that I have in common with my tribe. A discovery that took me some time. Each time I could notice something new. I keep on exploring me. I am learning so much about myself and that is amazing. I love what I see today. I am at peace with myself. This learning experience will never end. My ears are cute and soft, however they are smaller than yours. I hear the sounds that are typical for my environment. We speak our own language. I am also smaller than you. That I realized very soon. I cannot produce your unique sounds. I meow. You bark. We have a lot in common, such as our four feet and legs, and we both are blessed with a tail. It reacts on our emotions. We are delightfully vulnerable.
When I saw you for the first time - walking down the street - I instantly picked up a special vibe, as if our hearts connected at once. I was attracted to you. Pulled towards your magnificence. Just like that. Hearts are intelligent. They know long before us what the truth is, hidden in our souls. You barked and I was lost. I saw species similar like you before, they also barked. However, your specific sound made all the difference to me. The time stood still. I was purring deep within. A good feeling conquered all of me. I sensed that you had the x-factor. You watched me playing in the streets. You noticed me. You really did. You played with a ball and gave me a brave look. I felt that you were a champ. I did not even have to talk to you to be aware of that.
Although you come from another part of the town, I believe that there is no coincidence in life. We had to meet some day. I am so happy we did. First I discovered me, now I am discovering you and us. You have become my shiny mirror. In you I discover parts of me. I love what I see and it is a learning experience. The joy of what we discover together cannot be fully covered by words. It is too precious to even try. Our scenes are written in the blue inc of destiny. Each time you bark, I meow. We use our own words and I do my best to catch the meaning that you added to your words. It gives me such good vibes. I can listen to your stories for ages. Your adventures make me smile. When I look into your soul's eyes, I feel in heaven. This must be love. Your tail waggles each time you see me.
Your happiness is what really matters to me. I cannot be selfish around you. Whenever I can contribute to a happier you, I commit to do that. It feels easy to do so. You are worth it. Of course, I ensure that I take good care of myself as I learned that I can only be of meaning when I practice self love first. I manage that well by now and therefore I can give you all the love I feel inside of me. I see how your smile enlarges, when I shower you with my genuine love. You also treat me well, you even spoil me with your loving care and attention. It is true, there are many goodlooking and wonderful other species, but you, are the one that touches my heart most deeply. I knew it right away. What makes it all so mesmerizing, is that you have exactly the same feeling about me. So when you bark, I lovingly meow.
With this love letter I just want to thank you. For being such an adorable creature, for doing your own inner work so that you could become this magnificent star. I was so happy the day when I found you and I feel blessed for all the days we have been walking together since that delightful moment. Since the first time in my adult life, I use the words 'us' and 'we' with the most touching smile on my face. Now they have reached the depth that I always longed for. I knew it existed and there it is. Manifested in reality. Promise me to be always you. Your golden version of you, gives me faith that life is the biggest miracle. We find each other, the day we have found ourselves. I am blessed to be me with you. Baby, I love you. Let us play our love scenes as only the two of us can. We are made for each other. Love your barking. I want to be with you.
