Resistance Broken
With only one striking move he had locked her inside his mind. Strong and confident. She felt how he reached his goal. Her thoughts were in lockdown as well. She could not decide upon her direction anymore. Hard to accept at first. Then her muscles commanded to let go. The less energy it took, the better the outcome. She tried to deny it, but for the audience it was obvious, that her resistance was broken. Their souls communicated on a deeper level, where peace and silence live in a sort of common agreement. With no rush and no regret.
The time did nothing to slow down or speed up the event. Passive role. It went into its shadow corner to be a faithful witness of those things that were meant to happen with a natural touch. Breathing became a state of art. Lungs compared their competitive strength. Hearts fell without the fear of being wounded by the laws of gravity. Safe and secure. Moments of bliss and tenderness. He watched her. His angel of love. She closed her eyes. Let him be who he wanted to be. They understood each other's language, without mentioning one single word.
The peaceful war inside their hearts just started. A battle hard to cover with a pen. He reckoned that soon he would occupy the whole space. A white sign of surrendering would not have helped her. He felt invited to dive into the deepest layers of her soul. The door opened. Gently. He grabbed the chance to enter. A mysterious world appeared. They met each other at multiple levels. Diverse time slots united. His eyes expressed pure love for his favorite being. She replied with an answer in her heart that could not deny anymore how deeply she adored him.
Meanwhile the blue ocean created a royal concert. The sound of the waves imitated their movements. With an accuracy that no human being could ever reach. The summer sun reflected their entire shadows against the open sky. The most delightful colors appeared. Sprankling. Bubbling. Overwhelming. The fishes felt the vibes deep inside their bellies. They could not decide yet how to show their enthusiasm. More and more parts of nature came together as one. A cycle of sacred wholeness had begun.
In the deepest corner of the blue ocean he opened his treasure. She saw how infinite letters of love were stored with precision. He must have waited so long for this moment. The words left the paper and built a touching song. Composed with wholehearted passion. She felt his presence inside her heart and her soul. They connected for life and beyond. Her brown hair danced with the waves. Gorgeous. She was. His hand searched what he had in mind. A golden ring. Her hand touched his. The gold made the fishes cry. Happy tears. This was the sign. For them to make the shape of a divine boat.
A clock appeared on the surface. The time got reactivated. They left the ocean with the speed of the flying boat. Adrenaline built and shared. Back to where they began. Locked inside his mind. He opened his eyes. She was there. In his arms. The day was ready to wake up. The summer dressed in its most beautiful package. The coffee cups were not empty anymore. The scent of fresh bread gave them hope. Her expression promised so much more than he ever expected. Their souls became mates. The breeze gave a precious present. The time was right. Covered in ultraviolet light.

She grew up in Mol, Belgium, but as a global quadrilingual EN-FR-DE-NL business professional with a master in translation (Belgium) she spent a decade of her life in Germany (practical work experience), Luxembourg (4 years) and Switzerland (5 years).
