Sunset In Gold

Sunset In Gold

The door of the hotel room was left wide open. The window in sync. The wind took advantage of that specific moment. As a first time passenger on a luxury train who has only eyes for novelty, the bold side of the wind grabbed a chance to visit the place. It was silent. No words spoken. Everything was turned upside down with utmost care, as if the mission was to find clues. The room contained secrets. That was clear. A bottle of champagne in the corner with two broken glasses made it even more mysterious.

The window curtains danced as lively ghosts do when they want to impress someone. The wind discovered the scent of presence. It followed traces of a forbidden perfume. The wind approached the wall. Red lipstick was left behind. Careless. The wind never learned to read but it used its intuitive ability to dive deeper in what could have meaning. Touching the lines of the lipstick, taking a break of some seconds. Of course that meant nothing in the course of a lifetime. Reflecting on what more there was to know.

The bed sheets seemed to have experienced a war. Totally neglecting the normal approach of moments and things. For half an hour the wind played a body and sensed luxurious silk the closest as possible. It imagined to be a seductive woman with ultralong legs. The sheets made love with her legs and well-being increased. This was fantastic. Almost heavenly. The bathroom was witnessing this extraordinary scene. For once it also wanted to take part in the story. Before anyone could count to ten, two bodies were mastering the art of balancing bed sheets in playfulness never seen. Soul electricity uncovered.

He looked at her and touched her face. With all his fingers. Trembling. Shaking. Fire burning. She was real. Soft textures. In love. She answered all his inner questions with sexy movements. He was thrilled and tempted to go further. The door was still open. Her hair felt the warmth of his heart. Beating faster. Her legs were stunning. He never had seen such beauty and elegance before. Her face was natural. No make-up. Something was so different about her. He was intrigued. His light moves made her feel comfortable. Her skin was wet. Bathing only a prudent memory. Untamed sensuality for the chosen ones.

The champagne bottle left a shadow. Sunset arrival. The broken glasses searched for the missing pieces and restored their shape. As if nothing ever happened to them. The clock ticked. From another dimension. She turned into the wind. Once more. Silently. He followed the same path and disappeared in the bathroom. The sound of running water dominated the scene. The wind left the room. No traces. The red lipstick got washed away by her last words. The wall was pure. Whatever happened in that hotel room, belonged now to the secrets of the sunset. Golden dust was left behind. Memories gone.

You remind me of the Movie Spanish Gardener (1956). So, I doubt that you since you were born years later. In the movie looked from a window at the wind blowing the flowers in his garden. He said "but the wind can't read". Now, with your stretched imagination you wrote "The wind never learned to read but it used its intuitive ability to dive deeper in what could have meaning". This is you Liesbeth the scenarist
