The Baby Carried Her Light
She was in the university hospital with some complications related to her pregnancy. The doctors did some tests to find out what was really going on. The skin on her belly was becoming like parchment. It was strange. She heard footsteps outside of her room. Someone was in a hurry. People shouting. Her heartbeat went up. The baby reacted. It felt the tension. The doctor did not even knock on the door. Wide open. The expression in his eyes terrifying. He did not say a word when he saw her. The nursing team took her bed with them. She started to cry.
They took her to the main room of the hospital. Big luminous space. Everything seemed to be touched by an angel. The cold world outside was gone. The parchment skin became soft and silk again. The baby relaxed and stretched his beautiful arms and feet. Her heart beated with the sound of heaven. The doctor looked at her. He asked her what she wanted. She did not understand his question right away. He explained that she had a choice. She still could choose what to infuse her baby with. He gave her the list to select from.
She read the list and was breathing with full awareness. It would have consequences for the rest of the life of the baby. She hoped that she made the right choice. She was somehow afraid to make the wrong one. The doctor could read her mind. He whispered that there was no wrong choice as with every choice there comes the potential for growth and opportunities to reach the highest level that was meant to be. She could let go her fear at once. Totally at peace, she used her intuition. She saw the light and that is exactly what she wanted for her baby.
The nursing team prepared the event. The baby would be infused with lots of light. She was calm when the process started. It did not take so long. The baby laughed. Its belly felt the movements. It was loving not threatening. Adventure for the prenatal soul. The shape of the baby changed during the proces. The mother transformed as well. Both in tune for loving scenes. The nursing team hardly recognised her. She was gorgeous. Her baby similar. The birth could be planned in the following days. The baby looked forward to it. Super light being.
The day of the birth was divinely arranged. Just for some time the doctor and his team showed her a dozen of trailers of movies what could have happened when she would have made another choice. It all came down to the same. There were infinite shades of light but she took the best one. Her unconditional love made all the difference. The baby loved her more than a baby ever could love his mother. The baby turned into a sunny boy with a heart of gold. He became a man and touched every soul with golden light. A choice taken with love always creates more loving light.
