The Owl That Could See The Future.

The Owl That Could See The Future.

Long ago, in a land far away, there once was an owl that could see the future. Soon all animals were informed that there was a genius among them. They were excited. The skill owned by Owl Genius was so different from the ones displayed by his friends. He mastered his skill as a king. He was a star. From all over the world, living creatures visited him to get his consulting service. He was generous and always took the time to give the best advice. He was gracious and added value to everyone who visited him. Their lives changed profoundly and quickly after they crossed his path.

His eyes were big, powerful and well developed. He looked deeply into the eyes of the animals who asked him for support. With intense focus he did his research. He saw everything. No hiding possible. The stories that the animals told, covered only half of the truth that they shared with Owl Genius. They were blind for their own weaknesses, shortcomings and mistakes. He accepted them as they are. Gave them the key to find their inner power back. A sort of doctor. The best worldwide. Each animal felt welcome and appreciated. They received high value. Priceless encounters.

One day, a little owl entered the room of Owl Genius. He felt lost and small. Owl Genius instantly recognised a characteristic that was special. The little owl told about his experiences early in life. Sadness, bad luck and a series of unlucky events. With tears in his eyes, he asked Owl Genius if he knew the answer to his problems. Owl Genius took his glasses and put them on. Little owl was watching every step. "Come here, little one", Owl Genius replied gently. Little owl showed his inner side.

Owl Genius saw such beauty inside that he did not know what to say. Never before he had seen such a talented boy. Little owl felt uncomfortable. He started to shake his feet and wings. "Please, stay calm, sweet one", said Owl Genius patiently. "My research is still ongoing", he continued. Little owl surrendered and decided to let it happen. "Good, I have completed my assignment, little owl", Owl Genius whispered. Little owl was curious and asked for an explanation. "What have you seen within me?", little owl asked in the most youthful way.

Owl Genius stretched his wings. Ready to make a statement. Little owl observed Owl Genius. "Listen well, young one", added Owl Genius, "you belong to a special species, born to shine". "What do you mean?", mentor, little owl asked. "You are a reflection of my younger version, I recognize myself in you", was the answer of Owl Genius. Little owl did not understand the message. A new effort. To bring the good news. Owl Genius showed some pictures. Little owl recognised his own traits. Then little owl saw the next pictures and finally the outcome: the transformation into Owl Genius.

Now little owl captured the essence. He was meant to be among the stars just like his own mentor, Owl Genius. Suddenly a deep transformation took place. Little owl began to change. Sadness replaced by gratitude. The family of little owl was waiting outside the office of Owl Genius. When little owl left the room, nobody could ever have guessed that this was the same owl that visited Owl Genius earlier that day. He was taller. Walked with confidence. His charism had reached the highest level. Owl Genius closed his eyes. Magic done. They say that true growth requires patience but once you have been unlocked by a strong vision, nothing can hold you back anymore!

Brilliant! I was captured by your first words and forced to see the story through. Aesop could not have done it better.

Beautiful message and true. We are all genius owls at some point in our lives. We need to be aware when we are in that moment of realiisation and take advantage of it.Love this 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Thanks for another buzzing blog post, Liesbeth. I think we can all use a Genius Owl at different points in our lives, but especially when we are young, immature and insecure. This speaks to the critical importance of mentors for young people, as well as instilling a sense of confidence in them to be positive and dream big. Good message. Keep buzzing!
